Have you joined the 10mm master race?

Let's see those best mm handguns!

I picked up this Ruger SR1911 in 10mm a couple of years ago. It's a soft shooter. Handles the round well.

I added the Ruger black diamondwood grips and called it good. I still need to add a fiber optic front site.

Definitely a great shooter for the money.

I ordered one of these puppies in 10mm today.
The Ruger needed a fren.
I bet it's going to be fun. 11 rounds of 10mm in a compact frame ain't nothing to sneeze at. The optional 15 round mags will be even better.

It will complete my list of handguns.

I like my m&p .45 full size alot and the s&w 10mm is appealing to me.

Single stack. Double stack is thick as a brick. I have no desire to ever hold one again. It’s just…unpleasant.

The feed ramp needs a little work. It doesn’t feed 200gr hardcast. I have a KKM on order but no ETA so I may have to work this barrel myself.

Had a s&w 1086, and an original, pre pic rail tanfoglio witness match elite. Foolishly sold them both and wish I never did. But I recently built a HK USP 10mm “tactical” out of a USP 40 cal. It’s pretty awesome; has a 10mm M14.5x1 LH threaded barrel, titanium vortex muzzle device, jet funnel, hk45 mag release, and uses Hk45ct elephant foot mags to hold 15rds of 10mm goodness. Have 18lb and 20lb recoil springs for shooting real full power 10mm nuclear loads. Only thing I may change is opening up the ejection port a little so I can eject nonfired 10mm rounds, and some light sanding inside the magwell so mags will drop free. Right now they have to be pulled out, and I can’t eject live rounds out of the ejection port, but the gun runs 100% on everything I’ve shot through it so far. Some medium power 180gr sig loads and some hotter Buffalo boar as well. Going to finish up my form 1 modular titanium 40/45 suppressor and run that on there too. Still have the 40 cal barrel and mag, so I can switch back and forth if I ever wanted to, no permanent modifications that won’t allow dual caliber use. I will likely buy a second recoil spring assembly so I don’t have to swap springs, because it’s a pain, I can just swap the entire assembly out for different calibers/loads.

I love the resurgence of the 10mm.

I bought my first around 2005- Tanflogio Witness for $325. To this day its probably my most accurate pistol even compared to a Wilson Beretta and many high end revolvers.

The Witness was heavy and I wanted a G20 for a long time. The grip was just too big for me thou. It wasnt until the G20SF came out that I pounced on that. Its been my backpacking gun for 10 years now. I put a Barsto barrel in it because I reload.

My first 1911 was a RIA 2011 w/ rail. This one took some tuning to get it running right but its flawless now. Mag catch extended too far into the magwell and would hold the slide back when shooting rounds with a odd ogive.

Then a Delta Elite because.. pimp.

ALL 10mms are under sprung from the factory. Put a 18-20lb recoil spring in right away.

Reloading is the way. Longshot is a fantastic powder for the 10mm and I say this after a lot of testing. You want to be shooting 180 grainers at 1250 for practice to be living the 10mm life.
