At least 39% of those surveyed said they want African countries to emulate the structure and governing systems of western democracies. See, there's the problem. Western elitists have conned most of the world (including Americans) into thinking that democracy is the standard and the greatest goal for a governing structure. Establishing democracy accomplishes nothing unless you establish an independent judiciary and guarantee basic liberties to the people by limiting government. The long arc of democracy bends toward authoritarianism, to paraphrase. |

I've been to Africa more than once.
I can confirm over half are trying to get out. ETA - The sheer volume of letters and phone calls trying to get me to sponsor immigrant applications caused me to cut ties with everyone from there.
