What's baseball type hat that doesn't draw any attention?
Sportsball hats will always have people who love or hate the team Branded hats can draw attention to fans of the brand Blank/Black hats look weird like you're trying to be a "gray-man" What say you all? |

Never had anybody look twice at my Hoppes hat. If anyone has to ask what it is, I'll just tell them "chemicals".

IDGAF, blank hats are best, and not because of gray man shit.
Why would you advertise for a brand that isn't paying you to do so? |

Minor league baseball team hat. Or depending on the AO the local MLB /NHL or national felon league.
In a more rural area you can definitely get away with real tree or camo. In an urban setting I'd go with the above mentioned sports team. |

My favorite hat was a free merch vendor sample from some guy wanting us to put our logo on hats.
It was for some restaurant in the Florida keys I think. I would do something like that. Everybody travels. |

How about a hat with a morale patch:
“I overthink everyfuckingthing” I feel like you’ve been wearing a top hat that you’ve been applying mercury to. Where’s the Jurassic park gif? You get the video instead. ![]() see nobody cares |

Something like a promo hat for a beer or liquor company; I've got a "Corona" hat somewhere...
And, a generic hunting/sportsmans company cap; like a Browning-logo cap, or a Cabelas cap, or something suitably generic like that. If you want to be super grey man, keep a couple of unstructured caps in your Maxpedition murse and swap them out whenever you feel like you've been made by the glowies. Also, bring several pairs of shoes. Lots of people strip off over shirts or pants whenever they do something nefarious and try to walk away; the quick change of clothes can throw off most people. No one ever swaps out their footwear though. Just as distinctive a lot of the time. |

Local high school athletics support cap works fine for me. YMMV

Just pick up a hat with Tractor Supply’s logo on it or something.

If you're trying to be "gray man", you're probably try too hard.
Just get a couple caps with some local sports teams on em. If you're worried about being asked about your simple sports, then you probably have bigger issues than your hat. |

“Vegan”
“CrossFit” “Cyclist” Corvette Flag Logo “Staccato” All of these hats will ensure nobody wants to talk to you and steers clear. |

Hats from the popular team where you live.
Random company hats are also quite nondescript. They don’t promote a cause, antagonize a fan base, etc. something like Al’s Plumbing and HVAC. It is not immediately recognizable or memorable. Not a memorable logo cap such as Carhartt or Oakley. |

You can get solid color ball caps at WM foe $4, that's what I wear. When they get nasty ,they become" working in the yard "hats.
Yeah I know FWM. |

I have been wearing baseball hats for the last 30 years and can count on one hand the number of times anybody has mentioned anything on the hat. You have too much time on your hands.

I get hats from vendors/industry all the time, mostly the Richardson hats.
Never gotten much of a reaction with a "insert random contractor name logo/here" hat. |

When I do have to travel to the office for work in an upper class area, I sure get the looks if I am wearing a camo jacket! Sometimes I do wear one just to freak the pretentious old ladies and soccer moms. |

1) insert Jurassic Park Dennis “Dotson-we got Dotson here! See nobody cares” meme
2) amazon. Plain flex-fit ball cap. Choose your color. Edit: Beat by BuddyChryst |

A plain ball cap doesn’t cause that reaction among normal people; just like a Carhartt hat doesn’t draw any attention.
Don’t overthink shit, weirdo. |
