Looks like all the other threads went to archive. Season drops tomorrow at 6pm PST. I'm sure it'll have some shit that annoys me, but I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I liked it, was it as good as something we would have gotten in the 1980's or 1990's from Hollywood? Nope, but those days are behind us and I take what I can get now in entertainment.
Definitely was better than anything that's come out of Disney or Netflix. |

Just finished the season up.
I guess I liked it overall. The BoS is odd. Perhaps they merged with the Legion out west? They certainly seem to lack much of the east coast BoS's military structure and have more pseudo-religious trappings, along with Roman names. They did the NCR dirty, but them's the breaks. I was somewhat disappointed in the combat. No VATS? No laser or plasma weapons? You see them about, but not a single instance of one being fired in any of the episodes. There was just something oddly overstyled about it, too. This isn't Borderlands. Agree the pre-war scenes were some of the best parts. |

For being from a military camp he has no discipline or morals. Already tons of inconsistencies in the story I honestly don't care about anyone in the show except maybe Lucy, but I have a feeling she gets Mary-Sue'd through the difficult parts. I'm not sure how much sense it makes that she takes down a bigger stronger guy after getting stabbed in the abdomen- and apparently it missed all her organs. The raiders decimated the vault-dwellers but somehow lost in the end? I can't tell if the Brotherhood of Steel is supposed to be awesome or shitty View Quote @djkest Click To View Spoiler Maximus was saved by the Brotherhood after Shady Sands was annihilated. As a child he clearly looked up to Brotherhood Knights in T60 armor, that flashback scene was replayed about a dozen times. His heroic vision of the Brotherhood was destroyed by Titus first sending him as bait into the Yuo Gui den, and then running like a bitch when the Yuo Gui ambushed them.
Titus had Maximus remove his helmet and Maximus could see he was in fact a whiny bitch who was threatening to have Maximus put to death for the high crime of not dying first by Yuo Gui. Maximus let him die for putting the final nail into his naive childhood perspective of the Brotherhood, not for the mean things he said. |

I started a rewatch.
I'd forgotten the Asian chick going in dry on Maximus when she repaired his armor doodad. She was a lot of character for maybe 87 seconds of screen time. The voice, the look, the attitude and the anal. Also the stoners at the organ harvesting store were memorably funny. Thaddeus is my favorite after the Ghoul and Lucy. Did Chickenfucker turn him into a ghoul or was that just more Stimpack style stuff? Now that I'm accustomed to the premise of the world I see a lot more sight gags and funny interactions. |

It’s a fictional game world with many possible mechanics. My guesses would be cryosleep in vault tec under a stolen identity, bootleg cryo from another faction like the Enclave or China, or her consciousness transferred to a synth. |
