Hey all the what have you done this week ammo-wise threads have been a great and fun series so far so lets keep it going with Part 3. FlDiveCop71 sent me an IM asking if I wanted to start the 3rd round of this thread since I started the original and I told him that I was fine if he did or I did but he told me to do so here it is.
Here is a link to Part 2: What Have You Done This Week Ammo-Wise??? (PartII) The link for the original thread is in there if anyone where to want to go through and read a ton of fun stuff. So, what have you done this week ammo-wise? What have you bought, stashed, reloaded, shot, etc.??? Pics are welcome, so let's get a ton of pictures posted, also post what you're paying and from where (if you want) because it's fun to see how the prices change over the course of one of these threads. I think you can still post in the other thread or Zuk is going to lock it once he see's this one. Not sure but we'll find out. Post Away.... |

Just got 18 lbs of Walnut media, 38oz of brass media polish, 1000 CCI #41 primers,
and Im about to order a press kit, getting closer to my first reloading endeavor! |
|
I put in a request to have the other thread locked now.
I'm still tallying up the totals for the last thread, but when I'm through I'll post the results in this one. (may be a few days before it's done though) As far as what I've done this week: Nothing bought or shot (been too busy cleaning up all my guns this week), however - I did spy several boxes (@12) of the .223 federal 100rd value packs at the wally world in Oldsmar, FL earlier today. (6 box purchasing limit. Still priced at $39.95 apiece) Wonder how long they'll stay on the shelf?... FlDiveCop71 |

ETA. But I've shot about 1500 rounds in two months. At this time, there is no restriction for ammunition of on line purchases in Ca. Don't know where he got that Oct. 10th deadline from. AB 962 is on the desk of the Terminator for him to sign. We'll see 500 rds of new 230 grn fmj .45 ACP, coming on the 1st of Oct. from Georgia Arms. |

1,000 Fiocchi 230gr. FMJ .45 ACP.
1,000 AE 165gr. FMJ .40 S&W. I hadn't planned to buy any ammo, but I'm not sure Arnold is going to veto the mail order ammo ban, so I'm hedging my bets. Updated 10/12/09 Since the RINO BASTARD signed the bill, like "The Year of George" on Seinfeld, this will be my "Year of Ammo." Ordered 2x500 Federal .40S&W 165gr. HST from ATG last night for $569. Ouch. |

120 rounds of Prvi Partizan M193.
60 rounds of Prvi Partizan 69gr Match. 20 rounds of Prvi Partizan 75gr Match. 100 rounds of Remington Subsonic .22LR. 100 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag .22LR. Budget is really tight, so I'm buying in small quantities at the local shop (at a slight retail markup) compared to buying in bulk online –– I can't afford the big financial hit of a case or two of ammo. Oh well. |
