So this 8 month thing sucks. But I also remember just prior to my short wait time b guys were waiting well over a year. |

View Quote Once CA gets the stamp, they send you an email with a link to with a "non-otc affidavit" that you have to get notarized and a 4473 that you have to mail in. Once they get it, they have to notify your CLEO and wait 7 days before they ship the can. I got the email February 21, sent off the form on the 23 and just got a tracking number today. If you are somewhere in TX that is a few hours drive, it is much quicker to pick it up. For me, the timing just didn't wasnt good with work travel, otherwise I would have drivien from DFW. |

Put the can (with muzzle device) back on. Wait 20 minutes for it to set, then take the can off. Once you get the muzzle device and can seperated, put device back on. Make sure to use proper torque when reinstalling. |

I'm noticing that silencershop bulk shipped a lot of their forms at one time. I remember seeing a picture of their shipment to the post office. Lots of boxed of forms on the back of a pickup.
So after calling the ATF, the dates of my pending application was july 22. I purchased most of my silencers prior to June 16. So......this added to the pending date. I am willing to bet if they did this, July purchases won't be available until May of this year. Check your pending dates with the ATF, I bet it's not what you think. Don't base it upon purchase date. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/07/13/silencer-shop-sends-2m-worth-of-nfa-stamp-applications/ |

June 17th they posted another new record, 113 lbs of forms. On July 12th they posted that picture of the truck, over 1200lbs of form 4s over 2 million dollars in tax stamps so that's over 10K form 4s. IIRC things pretty much dropped off after that because nothing was in stock! Hopefully once we get past the hump things will get back to normal, I have 3 post 41F stamps and it would be nice if they come quickly afterwards. FWIW my 5/31st purchase, I'd been waiting forever for a Recce 5 to come back into stock, didn't have the form 4 sent off until 7/6. At least I beat the 10+K forms from the 12th! |

Probably won't be any approvals today - offices closed due to bad weather.
Still waiting on a Form 4 via Capitol Armory, Form 4 mailed May 14, Pending May 24th. Haven't called in one week, but was not approved at 3/3. At 294 days, if it is still not approved, it will be the longest running form 4 for a trust in the past year, according to nfatracker. |
