Filed the Form4 e-file (or my FFL did) last Friday afternoon. Just got a call from them this afternoon saying it's been approved, and I can come and pick up my new toy.
Wow...that was crazy fast!! |

For me, they are.

Damn, congratulations.

Any speed difference between trust or individual?

They are disincentivizing trust registrations and building up statistics that might deflect lawsuits that bring up ‘a right delayed is a right denied’.
Happy for all the new suppressor owners but the ATF doesn’t plant trees to establish standing forests. It’s temporary erosion control. |

Just thought it’d be a weird coincidence. |

After looking at the approval email from the ATF that I got with my tax stamp paperwork, it looks like they actually approved it on the same day it was submitted.

My last three were two days, three days and five days.

My youngest son just turned 21 and went and bought his first suppressor, he purchased it online on Wednesday and they delivered it the following Monday to the FFL He got the phone call and went down and filled out the paperwork on the Silencer Shop kiosk, and got his form 4 approved on that Thursday. 8 days from start to finish.

Still waiting on 2 that I filed in December. Both were electronic form 4 individuals.

From what I’ve Read
When the ATF t submit the NICS check for an individual, It comes back clear. That person is approved at that time It only works for individuals and for trusts |

I recently submitted my efile on a Friday and got approval the following Monday morning. I need to get another one started to take advantage of this while it lasts.

View Quote Doesn't help you now, but next time try Capitol Armory. My one and only experience with Silencer Central was great either. |
