I got on the Lage list for the Max-11 MKII , and am #83 on the list. It's a 4-6 month long backlog, but that's just about right for timing with my form 4.

Quoted: it's probably just surface rust
hit it with some WD40 and a cloth, maybe some very very fine steel wool
you can dab on some rust converter solution from an auto parts store with q-tip if you like
I have seen many guns come out of storage with some surface rust, usually it just rubs right off the gun
once it's rubbed off and a thin film of gun oil is applied, it won't come back.
Great to know, and good info. Thank you!

Never use steel wool. Especially on the rough park like a Mac has.
Use a brass brush & solvent.

I'm not. The lage is too slow for my liking, mac jack bumps it up to MP5 rpm.

Macjack works great with a lage, should be great with the bolt too!
Please tell me you are kidding!

I got ya! Just got mine running 100% with the standard OEM bolt and Speed Cube with a can. It is stupid fun and actually pretty controllable.

Beautiful! I've been considering picking up a Bowers can for dedicated use on the SWD. How do you like it? Is the Vers9 or Vers9 S preferred; and why? Sound difference? I have two Octane 45's , and two Omega 9k's on form 4 right now, so I'm not sure if the Bowers would be of anymore benefit than those?

Makes me happy, as I have an F4 pending for a Vers 9s right along side my M11

if you come across any rust that won't wipe off, try a copper penny, all of them 1981 and before are nearly all copper and are great for knocking off rust without damaging the finish.

@michaelhk how do you like the thumb mag release? I have been debating about upgrading from the factory style.

Mine is nice, and a good deal.
It is one of those things that should be from the factory as a stanard..
