Anyone going to the circus this weekend?
It may be worth going just watch the frenzy and see some inflated prices.
A friend and I are going to observe the madness, don't plan on finding anything at reasonable prices. Should be crazy.
I need to stock up on my 30 round assault clips for my automatic M-16, as well as some heat seeking bullets.
My gf's coworker said that I should hit up the circus and stock up on mags because they will all be banned by the end of the month. If pmags are going for $50 online then how big of a dick are they going to stick us with at a gun show.
I think you could find some entertainment there. Grab some jerky and enjoy the show.
If you think this show is going to be bad, how bad is next weeks at the GRB going to be?

Several major manufacturers are now refusing new orders. Do you know why. It seems like big retail stores and web stores are acting like a ban on guns in general has been passed. I dont get the defeated stance so many are taking now. To stop taking new orders seems like a prelude to shutting the doors, am I wrong? |

Several have so much on back order they need to get caught back up a little before putting them for sale again. Continually taking orders then not being able to fill them for 6 months often makes customers more upset than just not taking orders for the time being. |

Back orders with the manufacturers are up to 18-24+ months in some cases. Why continue taking orders you MAY never be able to fulfill when you have that big of a backlog of orders? |

I was hoping to find 75-100 round drum clips and potentially buy a bushmaster, I hear they are the one choice. Do they sell cop killer bullets as well?
I'm going. I'm in the market for something that can be easily confiscated. In other words, a bullet hose.

Stay away. As I live right by there I drove by 10 minutes ago. Estimate that they are 400-500 people waiting to get in.
and a line of cars on Fairmont waiting to get in the parking lot.
A buddy of mine called me to tell me that the line to get into the show was wrapped around the building twice.

And I am at the end of the line Your nutts. there wont be anything left by the time ya'll get in except $3,000 AR's. |
This answers my question. I guess I won't be going out there today and probably not tomorrow

I would like to know what kind of prices they had. Pretty sure it was a madhouse.

I know that Colt 6920 were starting at $2K, so you can kind of gauge from there.

Just got back from it. Line to get TICKETS wrapped around the west side of the building, to get in was maybe a good 100 yards longer. This was right when it opened but when I left around 12:30, there was still a line to get in. Prices were beyond outrageous. Stripped lowers ran from $300 to $500+, P Mags were going for $70 by some dealers. Manuvering the aisles inside was surprisingly not too bad.
Colt LE6920s were $2800 up, I didn't really even bother to look at any other AR platform prices. The hacks that sell converted Saigas (Dmitri) had converted 12 gauge Saigas priced at $3000. The "Clips" dealer had a constant line of maybe 40 people. Shit Wasr AKs were at least $1000. ONE dealer had 3 complete AR-15 uppers, I saw no others there. The only thing that remained the same were pistol prices, like the ever abundant Glocks and Sigs. There were very little "deals" to be had, all I really came away with is some reloading supplies and accessories. |

Hysteria. I want me an AR15! Let's go get in line. I have heard people say I'm a 'gun nut', I say thats ridiculus. |
I went this morning to gauge prices. I drove by, took one look and kept on driving.
I've heard from my friends that actually went to the show that: 1. People were selling PMags in the parking lot for $50.00 a pop. 2. PMags were as high as $70.00 on some of the tables inside but for the most part were averaging $50.00. 3. All Glock products have seen a price jump. 4. Fire Marshall was there and those stuck in the line had to wait for people to come out before they could go in. |
Damn that is crazy, makes me want to take some mags over there tommorow.
Anyone know if they had Glock mags (17 & 19) and how much for? I need some bad

We hit the show in the afternoon and it was still crazy, hardly a line to get in though. Some gems I observed:
Colt 6920 $2800 All other AR's $2000 WASR AK with Tapco $2000 Pmags $70 Keltec .223 folder whatever $1000 Jerky 5 for $20 Guess which I bought? Dear gouging dealers: Kiss my ass! Cry supply and demand all you want, I will NEVER buy from any of you again, ban or no ban. Looks like internet only from here on out, if that is even possible anymore. I was actually looking for some non-craze pieces but what I did find was junk anyway or way over priced. They can ban gun shows if they want, think I'm done. |

Were people buying them at those prices? I wasn't there... but I can tell you " hell yes " they were. Everyone that kept waiting to get their shit - is now paying out the ASS. ETA: .... Reloading components are NEXT - Especially primers. |
I know it's a free market and you don't have to buy if you don't want to but $550 for a stripped lower is ridiculous. There was only I place that had them around noon when I went and they are a regular poster on this board so I'm not gonna name names. But I'll make a mental note never to buy from them ever.
On the plus side, pistol prices were still the same. |

Some of those dealers need to sell high as to wait it out and re-stock at thier distributors elevated prices and stay in business. |
There may have been more high dollar purchasing going on earlier but I did not see a lot of when I was there, but there were some. I did not check out the pistol prices but someone else I was there with commented that they were $100-$200 higher than a week ago. I don't begrudge someone making some profit, hat is the game after all, but these prices were just sickening. 200% - 600% price jumps, please. I'm pretty comfortable with what I have so I will just abstain from the madness.
