After setting up today we decided a to add on a BUG shoot after the stages are complete.
Has anyone done a BUG shoot after each stage was complete? We only did 5 five rounds at the low ready instead of pulling from the holster. |

At our local IDPA-style matches, we will occasionally run a BUG night (indoor range, we shoot Saturday evenings).
Start with BUG, 5 rounds, table start (or similar - on a shelf, barrel top, etc). Run the BUG, clear & ground it (on the original starting surface normally), then proceed through the remainder of the stage with your primary. Those without a BUG may use their primary for the whole stage, with the same starting position. |
