The little orange plastic insert does help with wear and tear over the long term...
The hammer strike is onto plastic and at a lower velocity. The trigger surface isn't going to benefit since it is fully functioning, but the f-pin, hammer, springs, and pins will certainly benefit. You have to consider that the cycle count in this issue is in the thousands. You won't know there is a difference unless the view is taken over many thousands of cycles. The question is will that matter if the trigger wear forces all those other parts to change at the same point, in which case nothing was saved. |
