One of my old troops wants to get into the business.  He's a soft skill MOS with a bum knee.

He's lined up with a school out of Vegas, CRI.

The last time I looked at this sort of thing the Steele Foundation was the best.

Should I encourage him to go in a different direction?

Please advise.

ESI and Gavin de Becker are still the most notable names in EP only training. Whenever a company starts adding in "anti-terrorism" they start implying OCONUS PSD/PSS work, in which case their certs don't mean shit to the clients. If he is looking at just stateside EP, look at the aforementioned schools. The kool aid is strong with them, but good courses and they have good networks.

What he said.

Also, be leery of Trojan Securities International if they are on the consideration list.

The Israeli endorsement is enough for me to say no way. They have..........different..........safety standards.

I feel the same way but he is fairly anchored on the CRI route.

If he can use his GI bill, ESI has it's residency course he could qualify for.

I saw that. Looks like a good deal.
