Hey guys, I know in the end trial and error is the best solution here but feedback would be heavily appreciated...

I've been shooting rifles and handguns for many years now, and out of instinct grab my AR, bolt guns etc and fire with my left hand. ( I am completely right handed but shooting left is natural to me )
I can in fact shoot perfectly fine right and left handed.

Being that left is natural I do sling and use my rifles left handed. My question would be where would be best to run a side arm holster, right or left? Along with magazines for both rifle and handgun. I have an Aegis Ranger belt which will be delivered today. The holster I normally carry with is an old Eagle Industries IWB for an HK USP.40 (righty)  This is about to change as I want to order a Raven Concealment unit.

I appreciate the input from you guys. Again possible to save coin in the long run with the right input :)

I shoot rifles left handed and pistols right handed. So pistol goes on the right hip, and 2 pistol mags go on the left. I keep one rifle magazine right behind my pistol. This is my set up for 3 gun. I use a beer can grip for the rifle mags and keep the bullets pointed back.

Try to keep your rifle magazines behind your hip bone, or they will dig into your thigh or gut when you kneel. Good thing about this set up is its really easy to reload from prone, kneeling, and standing.

I also am setting up a battle belt for more comfortable rig. Lay out will be the same, but will have a double stack rifle magazine pouch instead of the single kydex one. The shot shell holders will be replaced with a small med kit on the right, and a small knife on the left. Pouches will have retention flaps.

Edit: On a side note when going from your rifle (left handed) to your pistol (right handed), you can break away your right hand and start your draw, as you are guiding your rifle down with you left hand. Although really speed transitions are over rated IMO.
