This past weekend I had the experience of attending the Aversive Handgun course instructed by Joe Nizzari of Line of Fire.  I only have one word about this course-OUTSTANDING!!!

The student/teacher ratio of his classes is incredible which provides the student more attention to better learn the training methods.

Joe and the instructors always made the time to answer any questions no matter how dumb of questions I asked.  The instructors never hesitated to show you when you made a wrong execution; however, they never made a student feel stupid at all.  This is quality instruction folks.

When I am shooting, I am a huge advocate of safety.  After all, I am not training to possibly save my life one day only to be shot dead by some dufus who can’t keep his muzzle down range.  Joe runs these classes extremely safe.  Not once did I feel that myself or someone else was in danger in any way.  The safety portion of the course is taught before anyone has a chance to pick up a gun and everyone must know the safety rules before they proceed with the course.

I have to say it is a rare opportunity when you find an instructor who cares about the material he/she is teaching as well as caring for the students.  I can now say that I have found my instructor for future classes as well as someone I have no hesitation about calling a friend.

If you want some good training, give Joe of Line of Fire the opportunity to open your eyes.

Greg,

Thank you for the great ARR on the Aversive Handgun course. You (as well as all of the other students) have a lot to be proud of.

I am pleased that you had a positive experience during the course and it was a pleasure to train with you and the others. Everyone worked extremely hard at the drills that were presented and I hope that everyone came away with new skills that may someday save their lives.

I would like to thank all of the students who attended the course for their attentiveness, focus, and hard work (it's not easy). I would also like to thank the staff for their time and dedication, because if it weren't for them (as always) the course would not have been a success.

Once again, thank you all for your hard work and focus. I look forward to training with you again in the future.

I’ve posted some pics from the course (thanks ARin). Enjoy.

Be Safe.

Sincerely,

Joseph Nizzari

Now this is what I'm talking about !!!!

Ever since I took the "LINE OF FIRE" CCW course with Joe last October I've been looking forward to this course. I have been (much to slowly) putting together gear and equipment in preparation for it's demands.

Wishing to take training to the "next level" this course seems to be the next logical step. A question was brought up about stress levels; for me, at least, I WANT AND EXPECT THE STRESS LEVELS TO BE HIGH. After this course I'm hoping Joe will put together a combination AR/Handgun course. I have a couple AR's that are way to pretty and really need to get their "dicks in the dirt"........

Greg, thanks for the review. Your experience confirms my thoughts about this course. I guess I'm a little different, I look forward to the stress, sweat and the dirt.

Oh, a friend of mine and his fiancée' are taking their CCW course this weekend. They decided to go with "LINE OF FIRE" instructors.
