[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PACT 3 Shot Timer Battery Alignment

I took my battery out of my PACT shot timer over the winter because it drains the battery. The directions say "BE CAREFUL OF BATTERY ALIGNMENT WHEN INSTALLING NEW BATTERIES" but it doesn't say which way the 9V battery is supposed to go.

Looking at the back with the belt clip up which way does the battery go? + or - up?

I just called PACT. He said with the display up, the positive side of the battery is down.

He said they used to have + and - on the board, but the board maker stopped marking it and they just got on them the other day about marking it again.

Are you happy with it? I'm in the market for my first timer, and am scanning the old threads.

So far, this is the one I was planning on going with.

I like it. I really haven't put it through its paces though. There is another thread in which another brand and model was recommended too.
