This may not be the right spot for this but I was wondering if anyone has used one of the Sig 556 or the Robinson XCR carbines for any training course. If so how did they fair. Any problems. I figure that this would be a good test for them, but I haven't seen any post on it.

I havent personaly used either, but have been in a course with some of the new SIG carbines. The ones in that class ran well with only minor operator headspace and timing issues. As for the XCRs, I've heard nothing but negatives about them. I believe Pat Rogers has had a few come through his classes with nothing but problems occuring.

Saw a new Sig 552 department gun go down in a Tactical Response class I was at. Charging/ cocking handle assembly fell/ flew off.  Rifle was dead lined.
