The season is over and the National Match here in Italy will start again on spring 2010. Long dark foggy days ...

Does it make sense to you if I replace the upper with the Holy Kriger with an upper in .22LR to train at 50m meter?? Is that a good winter training?

Thanks.

Sir, alot of shooters that I know use the .22LR conversion upper for indoor practice year round.  The only problem is that many believe the expense is somewhat high.  HTH, 7zero1.

The Douglas barrel works fine as well.  THat's all I ever practice with now is a .22LR upper.  cheaper and less time consuming.  don't have to walk to the 100 yard target, set up target at 50 yards, no more practice ammo reloading.

No reason not too.  With with Rem. Match ammo my Remington's (bolt guns) are very accurate at 100 yards.  Even more so with the pricey stuff.
