I was curious, do people see value in using blank ammo in training - not "force on force", but rather when practicing team tactics?

the army does. it helps with the crawl, walk, run school of thought
dry fire
blank fire
live fire
my unit used it as standard training doctrine for eveything form room clearing/team drills to force on force.

Not really. I use to use it for Malfunction clearing drills but dummy rds work better with less mess.
