I don't use VRS because I don't know ASL. So I use CaptionCall on landline and Sprint wireless Captel. You guys can rule me out. Thanks for your concerns.

You're about 51 years too late with that idea; TTY was invented in 1964. We no longer have to type out a conversation to a TTY operator thanks to technological advances - signing and using a video-relay interpreter is much more efficient for deaf to hearing and hearing to deaf calls. We can even call each other and have conversations directly, without having to type them out. Is there some hidden benefit to TTY that I've forgotten about? Cause I sure don't remember any - especially over VP. |
