Just about any 1" - 1 1/4" will do.

Is yours missing the rear sling loop too? You could get an IDF sling on Ebay for about $15, it comes with two lengths of paracord to attach it with.

The front is simple enough, for the rear I just made a loop around each side of the AMD65Tech riser and tied them together with a knot. You could also bolt one of the sling loops that AMD65Tech makes on the stock. Or attach a swivel or stud to the reciever like some guys here have done.

From what I've seen the original Hungarian sling was an all leather typical AK style with a clip on one end.  Would work better if you added a sling loop/swivel but may work just looping it around the buttstock if you don't mind it sliding back and forth.

Had a hard time finding Hungarian slings but recently ordered one from Desert Fox Sales.  The sling is a heavy piece of leather, almost like a horse harness.  Was impressed with Desert Fox, everything I ordered was just as described (have had a problem with that from a couple places) and had reasonable shipping.

As a way to attach to the read the Echo Nine Three V3 or V5/AMD should do the trick.

For a sling itself. They their Dual Mode Sling or DMS as they call it.

When it came time to fit a sling on my AMD65, I looked at most all slings offered in the marketplace and settled on what I think is the best:

Israeli Seyeret 2-Point Sling. ( Cost: $20.00 )

http://www.zahal.org/products/sayere..._parent=153417

I got mine two weeks after I ordered it online. - It is Very well made, metal hooks ( with hook-sheaths, to dampen noise ), and a plain slide buckle for adjusting length... BUT None of that fancy-shmancy "quick-release TOGGLE" Multi Dimersional Slide-Buckles Suburban Commando Tacticool crap.

I figure that If the Israeli SEYERET ( Special Forces ) don't need it, neither do I....

What it DOES have which Most other slings Do Not Feature, is a WIDTH of 2" ...

Now THAT is important to me  -   Comfortable carry beats Tacticrap any-day.... Just my opinion.

When I built my Rifle with its Triangle Side Folder from an AMD65 Parts Kit, I modified certain parts. One of those was that I had to shave Off the Forward Sling-Mount.

Also when I installed the Triangle Side-Folder, I had to find a way to attach the sling from the underside of the Triangle stock to its Sling attachement point on the Right side.

And It HAD to operate efficiently / cleanly when deploying the Side Folder from "Closed / Folded" to "Open" positions, and Vice versa

Therefore, In order to implement the SEYERET sling to my Rifle Build according to my above specifications, I also got the following parts from the same site..

Narrow Velcro Strap Sling Adapter - ( $10.00 ): This works as my Froward Sling Mount

http://www.zahal.org/products/narrow...-sling-adaptar

Sling Adapters (pair) - ( $9.00 ): I use one up-front, looped to the Velcro Sling Adapter detailed above, and then it's hooked onto the SEYERET Sling's metal hook. The other one is looped around the Side-Folder's existing Sling Hook, then comes down and around the Side-Folder, and hooks onto the Sling, same as the Front One.

My total cost outlay was around $44.00. And for that expenditure, I got what I think is the BEST sling in the Marketplace.

A BattleField proven, no-nonsense, 2" - Wide Sling, which deploys issue-free with a Traingle Side-Folder Stock ( see pic below ).

Works for me - YMMV.

Here are a few pics, of the IDF Sayeret Sling, as fitted to the AMD65; including closeups of  some additional items, listed below as ( B & C ) -

A) The basic Sling ( Black portion ) - The Webbing / Strap is 2" Wide. One Metal hook at each end, covered by sheaths.

B) Front ( Handguard ) Sling Attachement Strap, Narrow Type ( Pic 3 ) - Velcro belt & "D" Ring ( Olive Drab )

C) Front and Rear Strap-Extensions ( Pics 3 & 4 )- Loop and "D" Ring ( Olive Drab )

The basic Sling, when fully extended, is 52" long ( this is the black portion of the sling, in the pics below )

The two extensions are 4" long each, as measured once "looped" around their particular attachment points. This set-up brings the entire Sling "system" to a total ( max ) length of approximately 60"

NOTE: The basic Seyeret Sling includes Two separate 12" lengths of Paracord. I chose not to use these and went instead with the two extensions as seen detailed in close-up below in Pics (3) and (4).

Also, please ignore the loosely placed leather cover seen on top of the Triangle Side-Folder. I'm just playing around with this as an option for added comfort
.

I put in a sling loop on mine where the original rear loop is located and use a French MAT 1" leather sling with a swiveling snap hook on each end. This way, it hangs right for 'patrol carry'.
