Just finished up my last reps seconds before midnight. About an hour ago I decided to add to my day total and went on a race to set a new personal best tonight.

At 23:57 I checked my totals and had already set a new PB, but I was at 26,950...and I thought...I have 3 minutes to grab 50 more reps and get to 27k...so I did 55.

Finished up the day with 1240 reps
That got me to 27,005 YTD

Very curious to see what I feel like when the alarm goes off in 5 hours

Tomorrow may be a light day.

@M4ger

I took a look back and saw that the first time I was able to do a straight set of 50 reps was on 2/23. At the time, it was such an accomplishment that I found it notable. And above, when I could finally do two sets of 50 in a row I was excited.

Today, about a month later, most sets are 50 or a little more. I've gone days with 10-15 sets in a row of 50. It's pretty crazy how fast the body gets used to the abuse

And you are totally right...when you start doing the bigger sets, it adds up fast. I started this journey planning to get 100 per week. As it stands now I am averaging over 350 per day. My new target is 100,000 by 12/31/24.

This week I am going to try to bump up my sets to 55 reps. By the end of the year I want to be able to do a set of 100.

In other news, today I am clearing space in the garage for a pull up rack. Will start that soon. What a year.

Well done macro!

The time will come where a set of 100 becomes normal.  I know it is difficult to believe, but I'm expecting that sometime this year, you'll knock out 300 in your first 3 sets of a day's workout.

Incredible progress, Sir.

I dislike this time of year and I am not sure why.  So...I have been doing 10 rounds multiple times today and doing low-energy chores in between.

34x30 over the past several hours...  10x30 over 10 minutes times 3 and then figured I was close enough to break 1,000 so I added four more and a set of 20.

We will see how the night plays out. I've spent all day cleaning out the garage, moving furniture, moving cabinets...and a chest freezer...and lumber...and soil...and gardening crap...and tools.....and doing minor construction tasks.

I still have energy but my back is telling my brain that it's time to stop being vertical

Did a bunch of pushups early today. Will try to get some more after dinner.

I keep forgetting to update.

Week of Feb 25th - 550
Week of Mar 3rd - 650
Week of Mar 10th - 550

Stilling most of the reps done at work averaging 125-140 per night 3 day one week 4 days the next.  At home, days off, doing 75 to 90 per day.  I am trying to keep in at 550 one week and 650 next.  This pace keeps me challenged without doing any damage.  Still taking 1 day a week off.

Update for the week ending 3/16:

Finally averaged 200 per day for the week, with one catch-up day of 600 in four hours. That was a workout.

Also, in true arfcom fashion, this thread is costing me money. I bought a pull up bar. Figured I needed to balance out all the push exercises with some pulling. Good new: I can still knock out a set of 12 legit pull ups.

1952.  65 reps in 1:03.
2000.  65 reps in 0:53.
2010.  60 reps in 0:52.
2020.  60 reps in 0:49.
