It's decent commercial ammo for plinking and range use, but it doesn't have the velocity of the milspec loads. None of the commercial ammo does, which is why M193 spec ammo is so popular. |

Ammoman had 5.56 55 grain in bandoleers and cans yesterday. I looked this morning and couldn't find it on his site. Did they already run out?
He still had some 62 grain, expensive, but a can would be nice for SHTF storage, 820 rounds per can for 200+ |

Q3131 Winchester 5.56 has appeared on the shelves in stores I've visted but I have had some problems. Lots of other folks have not.

Try Academy, I talked to the manager, they are still getting Q3131A in, just going up a buck or two a box, I just bought 22 boxes and they had SEVERAL to go. Said its still coming in. They will transfer for you.
