It's the factory magazine that came with the rifle.  10rnd, single stack.  I was lucky to find a bunch for cheap a while back.  It also takes WASR 10 mags.

Damn that Micro-105 gives me wood!

Speaking of wood, i wonder what that thing would look like with Russian Laminate and a triangle folder

Who did the micro AK-105 build?  Sorry if I missed this.  Is that a Bulgarian AK-105 front sight / gas block combo?

I built it.  It's a Russian sight/ gas block.  Rifle is built off a Saiga sporter so it has a Russian receiver and barrel also.

Spent all day Saturday giving my wasr-10 a BFPU pass. Was inspired by photos of  Somalian pirates that had an AK with minor rusting and medium wear. Still need to find a ratty sling or make one and tie it to the barrel.

Saiga conversion, went for the SLR 107 look. I know the grip looks goofy, I had some Soviet era 20 Kopek coins that I inlaid on the grip.

Here's my AMD65 with a few goodies. Took off the horrific brake and replaced it with an awesome brake from ak103.com. That guy has a great accumen and even though his stuff isn't cheap, he will go the extra mile to get it to you in a hurry if you have an event or other urgency. This brake seemed to really reduce percieved recoil and made it feel like more of a push than a sharp punch. Yes I had to use a thread adapter.

I ordered the replacement stock from AMD65 tech.com but you don't really need to use a torch or drill to get the old stock off typically. Just use a punch.
After I got the replacement stock I fabricated an additional cheek mold riser thingy using sculpy clay and baked it to perfection at 275 degrees for 30 min. Then I covered it up with a custom nylon/velcro cover. I think it looks pretty slick and since I molded it around the replacement stock it doesn't move at all.

The pistol grip is from MFT and the foregrip is replaced with a standard AK grip with the long-ass screw.

The top heat shield is just a cheap East German plastic one on a modified gas tube that I cut down and then flared to fit. Mine is actually a bit too short and in case you were wondering, you can actually have the thing WAY too short to where there is a gap and it will not matter. The gas tube vents don't matter either. The gas tube is actually just a guide for the rod/piston. It really doesn't hold much if any pressure.

That's one of the biggest things that gives it the Soviet Afghanistan War era look.
