Well, I've had an A4gery in progress for a while and finally got the KAC M5 rail system today. So, here are a few photo's of my A4gery and M4gery together. I may take some better ones later but these will do for now.

A4gery is a 20" Bushmaster with KAC M5 RAS and Matech BUIS. I will eventually have an ACOG TA-31F or TA-31RCOA4 on it. For now, it gets the Aimpoint COMP M.

M4gery is a RRA Entry Tactical with a KAC M4 RAS and KAC 300m BUIS. It is sporting an ACOG TA01NSN.

Here is a group shot:

and......the obligatory bayonet shot..

This is my current rifle... I got most of my inspiration from the RRA Govt. Carbine and kind of did my own thing from then on. The mag clamp I got as a novelty but I don't think it has much real world application... the added weight really slows you down

I think I may send my upper to Eagle Firearms to have them cut the barrel down to 14.5 and permanently install that phantom... anyone else done this?

F150,

I bought a STAG upper from Eagle, and had them cut down the bbl to 14.7 and perm. attach the A2 birdcage.  I have since sold that upper, but the work was excellent.  It looked factory.

Depending on your particular unit, or how much of your own money you were willing to throw on your work rifle, you'd have a lot of odd parts on an otherwise issue piece. I had my own TA31-RCO in a Larue mount and a KAC 300M BUIS, a GG&G rail sling swivel behind a Daniel Defense offset flashlight mount on the 9 o'clock rail, a CQB Solutions sling, and a TangoDown grip on my M4/203.

I saw EoTech's, SOPMOD stocks, ARMS BUIS's, all kinds of lights, Harris bipods, and so on and so on.

here is a picture of me shooting off the stern of the USS Belleau Wood LHA-3. (Now at the bottom of the ocean)

We just got the M-4's and we would spend our day shooting the trash that was dumped overboard. We shot ALOT!

We were on our way to E. Timor for peace keeping operations when this picture was taken. 1/5 C. Company Weapons 0341

I agree....a lot of beautiful A4forgeries in here.  I mean there's so many ways you can do an M4gery but w/ an A4gery it seems everyone sticks to the KAC M5 w/ VFG, panels and either the carry handle or ACOG.  To me it's one of the sexiest EBR's there is.

Pirate we have twins!  Mine is setup the same exact way...until the other packages arrive.  My top rail of my Knight's are being a-holes, it doesn't want to snap in...I've got some MI 2 pc rails on the way, they bear quite a resemblance to the KAC.

Nice!

welll lets just say I had some bills to pay so I sold the stuff I truly didn't need.  I still have the rifle and I sold the M5 for 5 dollars more than I bought it for.....I can always get another one down the road.  Also sold my Surefire M1, Surefire P111D, Rail Covers, VFG, etc etc etc lol.  I'm good now but I just need to watch my gun spending more closely.

The rear locking lugs of the top rail need to go on either side of the gas tube and underneath the barrel nut.  There's no need to replace your current KAC HG with an inferior unit, it just needs to be installed correctly.  Google "Knights RAS installation"; theres a .PDF somewhere out there for it.
