That $25 sight is cheap Chinese junk.  The LMT original is way more than $25.

Carry handles are only up to $125 if you don't shop around.  At the same time, I have seen cheap junk carry handles as well.  I saw one at the range where the cross bolts were to deep into the body.  No matter how hard you tightened both knobs down, the carry handle would slide forward under recoil.  The only thing that kept it from coming off the rifle is the fact that the handguard acted as a forward stop.

Yea the "forward" rear sight is odd, but it is not for me so its in the parts bin now. Just running an A2 style rear sight now.

Funny how this is 25$........

And this can be up to 120$........

for me it is not worth having the carry handle "look", but it may work out for the rest of you........

This. You're going to spend a lot more than $25 for a quality piece. People need to pony up and quit buying that Chinese shit.

ETA: Is it in the parts bin now because you realized it's an airsoft part?

It looks like you have it mounted backwards? The lower pic shows it has a built in buis, but you have it turned around and then have a separate buis (chopped carry handle?) Behind it.

LOL for like 25$ or so I picked up what is called a "Gen2" carry handle. For now it is just there to give a different look. Not sure if its going to stay or not. Could just end up in the spare parts bin. For sure gets looks and questions at the range. If I keep it, I will put a micro style red dot on it.

Its funny how a nice top quality removable carry handle goes for 80$-120$ when the same A2 style rear sight (without the carry handle extra metal) goes for 25$ online

do you even "leaf express sight" on your MSR (modern safari rifle), bro?

I think a bigger factor is that more and more factory rifles are coming with some sort of folding sight rather than the carry handle, so there aren't nearly as many take offs being sold, which has significantly reduced supply while demand has remained steady.
New quality ones have retailed from $80-120 for years.

This. Given that quality fixed iron sights start at around $55, and that a carry handle involves more material and machining, the prices are about what you'd expect in the absence of a glut of unwanted parts on the market.

Hey guys, I thought I'd post up a picture of my more recent ebay purchase. I'm pretty sure this is the same seller I bought from last year. It has a few small scratches and dings buts its 100% functional and a decent deal at 40.00 shipped

It's hard to find this on their website (it seems they want to advertise their $85 USA made version), but I ordered this a few weeks ago and it is perfect.  No markings on it, good quality, sighted perfectly on my 20" rifle-length build.  For $35, this can't be beat.... IMHO.
