Wellll this will be my next build! Not sure if I'm doing an optic or not...will either be KISS, have an Aimpoint, or a 1-4x on it with an LT-104. Palmetto Lower Palmetto MOE LPK 16" Upper from somewhere Low Pro gas block Armalite Clamp on FSB MOE Rifle length HG Either a Carry Handle BUIS or an LMT BUIS.... Build starts next month  |

As promised here is a somewhat finished lower product. (still waiting on the trigger guard that PSA forgot to put in my LPK, it should be here sometime next week)
All thats left now (besides a really expensive optic, is the surefire mini scout light. I also liked this build so much Im starting another one as soon as adco gets the barrel im waiting on. This build will have the KAC folding FSB. Im loving the SOPMOD, its rock solid and balances this gun out well. Thanks to all for the advice and insight. |

Far as i know, the original dissipator was a rifle length handguard on a 16" barrel with a clamp on front sight block.
looks similar to a recon/recce with a front sight block attached. this way you have full rifle sight radius, but shorter 16" barrel. check out wikipedia's article for bushmaster to see the original. |

i've been working on it for a few months now. i know the dimensions aren't exact on all the different furniture peices, but it's close enough for me. i usually take pics from ar15.com and scale them to fit the receiver, then trace the parts i need. edit: mom taught me better than that.... thanks for the compliment. |
I suppose this counts as dissipation. Its a 17" barrel including the welded FH. The dust cover is lasered "6.8 SPC"
Ive seen several Sully stocks in this thread. Very good stock IMO. I need to replace those XT panels with an AFG2 in OD Green.

Chris, I've been thinking about putting a PRI flip-up front sight on my dissy. What do you think? I think it would be pretty sweet but I am having a hard time justifying it. It would be a cross-bolt install vs. having a pinned FSB. I am definitely a fan of the HK style(hooded front sight) I am also looking into a muzzle device but cannot decide, maybe a AAC Brakeout to get the best of both side muzzle brake/ flash hider. |

I think those are good choices man. PRI was what I was going to go with on my folding version if I couldnt find the KAC. AAC is pretty sweet too, again one of the finalists in my choice for muzzle device. And Im one that thinks as long as its barrel mounted, it shouldnt matter if its fixed or folding to be defined as a dissy. |
