Allegedly the Sawman recce pic was taken around that time so likelihood it was a 12th is very low. Also actual 3rd models were .30 cans for bolt guns, we've been mislabeling the OG Ops cans as 3rd Models for a long time. |

I’ll get some better pictures once I get the rifle out to shoot. Just got the scope mounted and leveled. Saw a bunch of these FSP recce’s with the Viper and I fell in love. I think I just want to throw a bipod on. Anyone else rocking a similar setup with a FSP upper?" />

What scopes were they using back when the MRE was a thing in the wild? What's comparable and readily available today if not going "cloney"?
I'm leaning towards a Comp M2 or something like that, but the MRE makes for such a badass recce rail. |

I can’t decide if this looks stupid or not. This RIS was left over from another build it didn’t get used on. I was going to sell it and use a G Mk16 for the 9mm but I’ve lost interest in that idea. This is just a mock up to get an idea of what it would look like.

Bump to say this is my favorite pic thread on ARF.
Nice parts put together and no clone police BS. I’ll have to throw something together inspired by this. |

View Quote Got a 511 on the way for my GWOT thing. Just gotta send the upper off to John at Retro Arm Works for one of his minty fresh pin and welds. Last thing I need then is an ECOS-C riser for the eotech. Really excited to finish this one.. |
