Those MRE builds call me everytime I see them. I just really don't need another rifle like that in the collection. It does give me an idea though on a build that wouldn't be a duplicate.

I would of just slapped a PWS MK1 Mod 2 or KAC SR15 Lower that lacks the Ambi Bolt Catch. I still love the build though, and because of you I'm going to shortly be $1,300 poorer this Friday when I get paid to snag me one of those uppers, to do my version of an SR416 using an Geissele SMR 416 Rail System. Not to mention spending ungodly amounts on an HK Barrel Nut. Which leads me to my next question, where can I find one, and how was fitting it with a KAC E3 DI System, and how would it be using a SA Piston Retro Piston Kit ? |

View Quote You won’t need a 416 barrel nut as the extension on a 416 is longer than an AR. You’ll use the PDX barrel nut with whatever 416 rail you want. The KAC Mod 2 system is easy to work on and was a breeze to install. The 416 receiver height gives some extra room for the gas block too. |
