Wasn't sure exactly where to ask this.

I've got a work colleague of mine that has a couple of older Leupold scopes.  Ones a Vari-X III LR/T 3.5-10x40 with Duplex reticle and M1 turrets.  The other is a MK4 10X40 LR/T with mil-dot reticle and M1 turrets.

Are these of any value to cloners?  I know the reticles and turrets probably wouldn't be clone correct.  He wants to get rid of them and asked for my help on values.

That VX III 3.5-10x40 is trash. Tell him I'll give him 100 bucks just to ease his mind and get it off his hands.

But seriously that VXIII is correct just not the duplex reticle. Pretty certain the Mk4 10x was widely used on some earlier M24's.

I’m going to get a 10.3 barrel for it (obviously) just mocking it up with a cheap 14.5”

Already got a SBR Colt lower.

I’m thinking a Comp M2, arms #40 rear sight and need to figure out something with the light tape switch.

I want a 9” rail mount 203 for it so bad but poor

I'm thinking about a NXS 2.5-10x32 if I can find one with a good reticle. Do the Mk4 3.5-10 ever pop up?

Mine won't be anywhere near correct which is why it's in the GWOT inspired thread.

BCM BFH 11.5 FSB upper, FSB MK18 rail, etc. Will be one of the two hosts for my M4SD-L can when it gets approved (the other is my MK18 MOD 0 that shares the same lower)

I'll try to get a proper clone built so I can go next year, it looked super fun. Thinking about building Ron Shurer's Colt 933 for my first proper clone, I've got most of the hard to find parts already and the rest of it shouldn't be too expensive.

Gunbroker, boyssss

Also, that woa hates my 55gr fmj load that ive used for a decade, so its yanked and the BA new barrel and a thermal fit upper will be here today and ill try again. The woa shot 73/75 fine but im not wasting nice ammo under 300 yds for general use.
