Don't you mean "IDF Clone"? By your logic, I could post any carbine I wanted since the word "carbine" is in the title.

Pic thread and all...

I first got interested in Falcons back in 2004 while in Iraq. (I saw a foreign PSD Contractor with one)
Scoured the internet and every once in awhile they pop up for sale.
In fact there is a guy on m4carbine now selling one, his is missing most of the mounting accessories though
average price $200-$450 ($450 with all accessories)
Season 2 of Netflix show; Fauda seems they will be running them so
maybe their collectability will go up.

I know, that's why I posted it here.  I've seen lots and lots of IDF carbines (It's kind of a fetish, my favorite of the clones), but not many C7 style uppers (A1 w/bump) with a Mepro M21 on it.

Me running one for work at Mid-South circa 2005
I have only changed the battery twice on this one since late 2004.
Don't leave it on all the time, just for the range but still pretty good

Lucky!!!!I got to hang out with the Shaw's a while ago.  Too much fun! Personally I think the IDF part of this should fit with the thread.

Yes and the rear BUIS sits about 1/3 at the bottom of the lens so you can use BUIS with it.

Texas Machine Gun and Ordnance makes an IDF clone that looks pretty nice, but not cheap. However, by the time you round up the parts and do the engraving it may be worth it as a turnkey setup.

That is a very fair price vs. doing it yourself. They should put a flat delta ring on it though.

I kinda want to buy one of those Brownells 12.7" A1 barrels and stick it on an A1 upper for an Israeli menusar build.

I like it, but the twist is a bit too authentic for me.  I had ADCO cut  and contour one of my Colt barrels

KISS yes.  Clone no.  IDF never used slick sides.  We used to have a member here who was in the IDF who confirmed it.  I know cause I asked. Ended up with a 653 clone instead which works for IDF or GAU-5.

KISS. Just irons, light and a simple sling. I could rock this around the house and property.

But, I'd throw an optic on it if I could. Though not really KISS. If were talking a defensive rifle. The light is mandatory. Optic isn't.

Definitely! Ask him if he's run across any lowers that are newer and not 60s or 70s vintage colts
