Disclaimers: The AN/PEQ-2 is a fake, and the ACOG is a TA01NSN off one of my shorter rifles. I'm saving up for a TA31RCO-A4CP for this one. |

Thru the 20" A4 upper on my carbine lower for some deer hunting at the end of year. Didn't get a shot at any. FN 20" bbl, KAC M5 handguard, TA31 ACOG, SSA trigger and LMT stock

Has anyone notice the lack of 20" barrels lately? I can't seem to find any Colts or FN barrels anymore.
I was looking for a Colt AR15A4, but I see that market dried up

Took this today. Trigger was upgraded to the Rise Armament 3.5 lb single stage, which was a Christmas gift from Dad. Still my favorite rifle.

If anyone needs true A3 uppers (no feed ramps), I have two I got from a batch of FN uppers. These have engraved T Marks, but no forge code.
I have Cerakoted them in Armor Black at 20:1 (super flat to match anodizing). Ad is up in the "NEW UPPER PARTS" Equipment Exchange

Uh oh. I shouldn't have come here.... I sold my M-16 A4 clone last year. It was a big silly rifle with the stock that was about 2 feet too long. But it was so cool! And I have an M5 ras sitting in my toolbox. This will not end well...

I stripped my upper after hunting season was over 1 Jan and give my upper to my son. Still debating wheter to rebuild as a flat top A4 or get a fixed A2? But then again might just build both

I'm actually kind of digging this setup. The only thing that rifle gets used for is shooting steel at distance. The extra weight of the RAS/HBAR really makes the sights settle quickly. I think I might hunt down another M951 for it. Plus it may keep my urge to build another A4 at bay!

For some reason I don't think that would be punishment for Ankles. Now threaten to take his Cerakote or his Elcan away, he might comply. 
Also, I need to build an M16A4 clone already. Think i might throw my spare std issue M4A1 upper on the EE WTT for A4 upper.

Buddy of mine back in 05 had to run an A2 for a few weeks after his rifle went down. He put on the KAC ras and carry handle mounted a Leupold cqt 1-3. It worked well enough.

Just a note... SpecterGear has just discontinued their stock mag pouch line, as have a number of other manufacturers of these type products, so for those of you looking to do a 2001-2012(ish) A4 clone - be warned - buy what you may find now while there're still some out there.

Here is my poor contribution, not the most true to spec but good enough for me. I had a M5 rail on it briefly but decided I liked the HG's better.
Larue Billet lower, and billet upper Larue 2 stage trigger and parts kit Black Nitride FA BCG RRA A2 stock kit Colt carry handle Delton 1:9 govt profile barrel with A2 flash hider double shielded DPMS HG's and A2 grip Spec Ops 3pt sling 
Would love an ACOG for this but no way Im going to pony up that kinda cash for on since I have under $600 in this threw my trade deals. Barrel, BCG and stock were all new, Upper and lower have maybe 200-400 rounds on them. I still contemplate changing it over to a 14.5 SOCOM but I just love the old A4's |

This is the most accurate "clone rifle" I've put together. Based on a M16A4 I used briefly in the Army and really enjoyed. Looks exactly the same minus a PEQ.

Was it more common to see the PEQ 2 on the M16A4? I am getting into NV and was thinking about trying to update my A4 clone (Once I rebuild it....again for the 4th time!) with a IR laser.
