Haven't posted here in a long time.

Here's me in Basic Training (Fort Benning) with the M4 Carbine Uncle Sam let me borrow for 10 weeks. (FN lower, Colt upper). I'm sure I'll be made fun of for this

And I'm FINALLY building my M4. I have a forward assist, just wasn't on when this pic was taken. Lower is registered SBR. Need a barrel assy (Bushmaster, probably), KAC rail, Aimpoint, and flashlight.

Looking for a LEFT side Model 601 handguard!!!

Do you have a muzzle end photo of that carbine? I would like to see how the Omega rail looks from the front with the end plate removed. I have been thinking about cutting the end plates off my BCM uppers. I don't really care for the triangle end plates on the BCM middy's. The plate is partially blocking the side rails and is a bitch to get a light or other accessory past it.

(I'm refering to my top post.)

Anyway, here are some pics of the Omega w/o the handguard cap.
The reason I took mine off was I couldn't slide rail guards on. I only use the DD supplied ladder rail protector on the top rail. I like using TangoDown covers. I dremeled the back side of the rail slots on the TG cover about 1/2 inch and they slide back over the delta ring without getting caught.
