I'll say, this is my first AR. lurked here for about a year. started buying parts about 3 months ago. i bought it peice by peice and it went together extremely easy with no receiver slop.
The reason i built this rifle(my wife needed a reason, i didnt) was to be a hog gun. so i am going to be spraying it krylon camo. and eventually deciding on the best type of optic for where i'll be hunting. either ACOG, Reflex II, or a low magnification scope(Accupoint, XTR-14). if anyone wants to send me one to try out, i would greatly appreciate it

Stag complete lower (Former Industry Partner- Eagle Arms, Colorado) Complete upper, 14.5" 1-7 barrel, permanently attached Vortex (Former Industry Partner- Eagle Arms, Colorado) Troy BUIS (LaRue) Aimpoint M2 in LaRue mount (LaRue) KAC M4 RAS (EE) Surefire Scout (EE) Ergo Grip (Brownells) Royal Arms bungee sling (Brownells) Tango Down VFG (Brownells) After adding a VCAS, this became my better half's patrol rifle 3MAY10. I'm about to order the upper for my first AR build. I want to go with the 16" Bushmaster - What's the difference between a heavy barrel and an M4 barrel? Performance wise, I mean. |

Finally got this one 'done'...
All LMT except for the AAC M4-2000 Blackout Flash-hider/Supressor Mount (perminantly attached to the 14.5" barrel), and the Knight's Armament M4 RAS. Further plans for this one include an Aimpoint CompM2 on a KAC mount, and of course the appropriate can for the mount... |
