Ugly as hell but recent eyesight problems forced  me to switch from the ML3 to the Pris.

I don't think it's ugly.  Looks pretty sweet to me.  The problem is that if you don't have the approved ARFcom doodads on your carbine, it's got SARS.

Guess I'm still not allowed to post pics in a thread yet.... here's a link:

http://smg.photobucket.com/user/HwyStar/media/IMG_20150207_114046_444.jpg.html

OD furniture... can't decide on a stock so it's plain-Jane for now.  That red-dot is a Primary Arms 30mm Classic.  I don't like it at all.  It's better as an absolute than it is a lower third sight.  And the dot disappears intermittently as a round goes off.
All-in-all I like the setup.  I prefer not to have a handful of rails, so this is a good compromise.  There's a Surefire 6P for the forward rail not pictured.

And if you want to comment about the trigger lock, go ahead.  Or just send me $700 for a gun safe.  I have a teenager in the house.

You can post pictures, they just don't show up as photos to non-team-members until 3 different team members click a little "approve photo" link underneath them.  There were issues with...inappropriate content being posted by new membership (trolling) so it's a safety net to avoid it happening.

As for the lock, no ridicule here.  You do what you gotta do man.  At least you're being safety-conscious....I'd put a fiver down that a very solid chunk of the membership here isn't.

Thanks (short bus) Door Gunner.
Totally understand.  I admin\moderate a different type of forum and we limit those types of controls as well.  I wasn't worried about the pictures...just not used to being 'limited'.  :)

How do you like the Aimpoint on the carry handle? I'm considering doing the same with the A2 I'm building.

The cheek weld isn't nearly as horrible as I expected it to be. I'm sure it would be different with a magnified optic but my set up turned out quite nicely.

I've seen factory pinned 14.7 uppers from PSA in the past but it's sort of hit or miss with them as far as what's in stock.  Another option would be Windham Weaponry for a factory pinned barrel if you're into assembling the upper yourself.  I have one of their 14.5" factory pinned M4 barrels and it's really nice.  WW factory pinned barrel
