Not just part of it. That will keep it down better. I also round off the corners which makes the Velcro less likely to start peelin off. And always use 3m products or better. Generic Velcro has crappy adhesives. Seems like inner tube might be less hassle at this point. |

+1 on bicycle inner tube for VFG pressure switch mounting. It works well, but I use the electrical tape method because I always have a roll or two lying around the house.

Done some parts swapping and am working on an early Army SF Block I, 01-03 time frame. Here’s what I’ve got:
Colt Recievers (well, Upper is Diemaco, I got it cause it’s different and still halal) KAC RAS CAR stock with Masen Pad SOCOM Barrel TA01NSN ACOG Matech (not period correct, will swap out for KAC 300m) Will eventually wear a PEQ2. What do you guys think would be a period correct light? I’m thinking Surefire 660/6P in a weaver ring? |

View Quote Keep in mind: a lot of dudes didn't have weapon lights mounted back then, especially if they wore ACOGs The TA01NSN was seriously new in '01, and unless you worked caves a weapon light didn't really make sense |
