I’ve done what you’re thinking before and in the end it ends up costing me more. I always seem to rebuild the rifle I originally tore down to do something different with. |

Cadex order is still in "Pending" status. This better not be another Charlie's debacle.

Just spoke with Cadex. First of all, those folks are so nice, like Canadian cliche nice. I also asked about the flash hider with suppressor collar mount and they said their suppressors are designed from the Allen Engineering model, but not exact. No guarantee that it will mount or safely run any can but theirs. Just FYI in case anyone was planning on running one of those for any build and expects crossover. The guy I spoke to actually said that's why they don't post specs because they don't want the liability in case someone attempts it.

Cadex' warehouse just called me back with my order update and I have some good news and bad. They no longer make that rail extension as a stocked product and can't make just one. So we cancelled my order. He did give me some hope in that they WILL produce them if a 10-15 minimum order quantity is met.
My question is: who would be willing to jump in on a group buy? Honestly, I'm tempted to save pennies and order 10 myself and sell them off if not enough people are interested in a group buy. |

Rail is $234.95, but with tax and shipping it was $277.23.
I would be down for however y'all want to do it. Everyone orders separately, I place one big order, whatever. I just want one. |

An "in the wild" question: Has there ever been an early Block II (with RAS) or 1.5PR that had a LPVO?

Were Surefire suppressors ever used on early Block I M4A1s?

Last year I have add a SF 4 prong to a M4A1 as that guy was attached to a SF ODA that issued him an extra suppressor while doing mission with the team. When he left, I replace the FH back to his A2. There is a special leaf sight variation that was issued in SOPMOD kits that mounted in the threaded holes on the RIS/RAS.
Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File A 'C' clip goes on the bottom of the screw to retain it. |

See paragraph 2 in the SOPMOD RIS manual shown below.
Attached File Attached File Although the manual addresses video accessories they used them for tactical accessories as well. I have the SOPMOD leaf sight and I also have a bipod mount. There is a third accessory that mounts in the holes but what it is escapes my memory at the moment. |
