Is this close enough?

Colt LE6920 HB cut to 14.7", A2 pinned and welded, Daniel Defense BCG (to replace the neutered one it came with), shaved FSB (becuase I love two taper pins), Blue Force fixed front sling mount, Vickers sling, Aimpoint Comp M4s, Ergo gapper.

Took it out to sight it in today.  3 clicks right and 6 clicks up and it was dead nuts at 100y.  Shoots very soft, it's the heaviest AR I own.  It's still a light gun.

I'm thinking about running it with nothing on the rail at all.   I want everyone to see it in all it's naked glory!

Big thanks to Steve at Adco for his help, in his hands on Thursday, on my doorstep this afternoon. Awesome.

May one day decide to get the KAC buis, but I had Troys in my possession so that's what it got.  MB556K instead of an NT4. Other than that, pretty close I think... Was fun to piece together.

How it began...

Gotta start somewhere
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/adco7.jpg
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/adco6.jpg
Put the lower together, ordered the RIS II, and it began taking shape.
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/blk2parts.jpg
DD A4 upper showed up
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/adco5.jpg
Finally had enough to start mocking it up, getting an idea of it's future look
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/block21.jpg
USPS left me a package and a couple minutes later, voila!
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k639/altimeter2/adco4.jpg

Are you sure that second pic is Rangers? It looks like a khaki vest instead of one in RG.

Also, that looks a lot like a MK18 instead of an M4... might just be the angle though.

you mean CIRAS?

CIRAS and MBAV are 2 different things both issued in the SFLCS/RLCS kits.

on another note, i cant remember where but i read somewhere that the RLCS kits were going away and the Rangers were going to get the SFLCS kits that everyone else gets, explaining why some are seen with khaki kit now.

I'm going to agree - I don't have an NT4 because I'm not gay, I just live in a gay state where I can't get one anyways.

The M3X A23 was like $214 from cal's sporting outlet, dual switch was $90 on ebay.

Congrats on finishing your build. You seem to have put a lot of effort into it as I've been watching it progress on here and Calguns. Sure is heavy for a carbine but it's a hell of a nice one and you should be very proud of it.

Well, for a weight comparison, my standard Block I M4 with a TA31F ACOG, Surefire M951, and Insight AN/PEQ-2A weighs 10.8 pounds loaded. That is the standard set up for an infantryman currently, the Block II saves weight in some places but adds a bit more with the Elcan and RIS II, but its still only about half a pound heavier. Just got done doing rifle PT with my Block II though, my shoulders are now officially pissed off at me.

Search eBay for "lmt sopmod" and look for seller "love2bid4more." Offers SOPMOD kits with stock, tube, end plate, and castle nut for around $160 shipped. I have bought 3 from him (just got a FDE SOPMOD) and he's 100% good to go. No, I'm not the seller––just passing along a good deal.

Edit: realized that you are looking for a M4 stock kit. You could still buy the above, sell the stock for $150 and pick up a LMT M4 stock off the EE. The M4 kits from LMT aren't worth their asking price since it's a standard stock (IMO).
