I think he was implying "editing" synonymous with "censoring" and feigning outrage.

Well it spawned from having to shoot 300yds at night under NODS in a swamp with no support in tall grass.
So it has a specific purpose haha.

I've never seen anyone/unit with "full-up" FSPs.

The one organization that I saw with FSP rails had shaved their FSBs; there's a clone variant for you.

I try.  I search the EE all the time.  I did find one but they claim it's for the RMR.  However, it doesn't have the RMR plate.  The mount shows multiple screw/attach options.  I think I may take a risk on it.

Sometimes they pop up in the EE, but not often and it will be hard to find one for cheap since most people likely returned them to Eotech.
Basically if it's a Block II accessory or part, and it's a variation of tan of FDE, it wil neither be cheap, or easy to find.

Thanks Nate,

no; I sprayed, sanded and sprayed.

I sprayed two layers basically; first was coyote (Krylon); then brown (Krylon).

Then, I sanded (lightly) the brown layer and what you get is that effect of weathered (and rather uniform, too) color.

Nice.

You did a great job with it, almost a perfect match to the Elcan and rail. That rifle has really come together well.
