Nice! Don't see an aimpoint in a qrp mount on a cqbr block ii that often. Seems strange seein the two paired. Figured it'd at least be a comp m4.

I believe the WMX200 is still being made under contract for the gov't. Would make sense because of the compatibility with PEQ's and the tape switch features (map light, double tap constant on, or flash features). SF Lights are likely unit level purchases or individual purchases.

SF posted this the other day. SOF in Afghan.

I’m happy to see more and more Surefire lights being used, as cool as the WMX200 looks I don’t get dropping a G on a light that doesn’t work as well as a m300 or m600, but that’s just me..

JLAudio, great bunch of pics! I noticed a lot of people not running rear sights and quite a few with no BUIS (front & rear) at all. Is this a paradigm shift from the "but mah BUIS" norm? Just an observation.

NT4 is totally correct on a Block II. They just aren't as common these days.

Speaking of NT4s... I pretty much had my day ruined :\.

So, the dealer that had the best price on a taupe/FDE NT4 finally got one in stock a few days ago. I dilly-dallied a bit but finally decided to bite the bullet and order one last night. I go to place the order, but they won't allow me to complete it without selecting an FFL from their dropdown list, and naturally, my guy isn't on the list. I figure no big deal, I'll get them a copy of the FFL, have them to add him to the list and order today or tomorrow. No such fucking luck.

First of all, they're closed today; but worse than that, I checked earlier, and they're now out of fucking stock. For fuck sake. I was all set on finally doing it and get thwarted at the last minute. They better get new stock in soon :\.

On the bright side, I just scored an FDE M600DF w/ SR07 for the new CQBR :D. Grabbed a "C" stamped upper that happened by as well - I don't really dislike the new CAGE code uppers but do kinda prefer "C" marked. Now, if I can get an NT4 ordered, I'll be in business. Otherwise, I only need an EXPS3-0, taupe 99051 and TD stubby to cap things off.

Also got the optic and BUIS all zeroed up again on my main CQBR the other day after swapping rails (twice, lol). For those that were asking, I've decided to keep the new light colored RIS II I got ;p.

After a little handling, it ended up being a good bit lighter than the other new one. I'm starting to realize you can't completely judge the color of a brand new RIS II until you handle it a little... they sorta change a bit. Either way, I'll probably list my old RIS II soon.

@krdt that looks good! Let me ask you something. Take a look at mine and let me know if it looks dark or what? I was about to backorder a new mk18 upper from brownells but just pulled this one out and am pretty happy with the color but would prefer a light one.

It's hard to tell, but it seems about the middle of the road to me. Definitely not as dark as my dark chocolate "almost black" older rail, but a little darker than the lightest one I have. It actually might be pretty close to the first "new" RIS II I got.

Unless you're just dead set on something lighter than average, I'd rock it.
