Yes the vendor regularly posts on Reddit and a friend of mine bought parts from there and received the products no problem.  Seems like a small operation probably why they're not well known.

Going to be getting myself into the CQBR family here soon, I hope.
I'm off to a good start, it's going to be a bit of a journey for me. I'm going to do this one much slower than I did my Mk12.

What's the deal with Geissele? Must have missed it. Hard to beat bomb-proof picatinny rails for combat environments.

Nice! I had 2 of those rails but sold one off. I had one with the gg&g bird and one earlier gg&g Tucson AZ marked one. I should've kept the Tucson marked one for sure. It would've been covered with krylon anyway so...Attachment Attached File

Government marked lower question...

when did colt start putting the QR code stamped into the gun? I know its on all the 2018 m4a1s. If you were building a clone and trying to stay as close as possible how would you feel about this?

Has a mk18 ever been spotted with a KAC lower? because that would make my life a lot easier right now believe it or not.

I’ve already decided I’m painting mine once it’s done. But how wrong would painting one more suitable for NE Ohio be? Maybe woodland type colors... anyone here have one painted with more of a green palette?

I’ve got a lot if time so I’m buying pieces slowly. The Lightning Link for the build probably won’t be approved until Nov/Dec (if I’m lucky). But I’ve already got the RIS II, Colt 10.3” and complete lower (minus the SOPMOD). Still need an upper receiver, BCG,  M16 Ambi Burst FCG, and furniture. I'm hoping the Colt receiver/BCG combo deals come back in stock at SA. As far the Block II accessories I’m stopping at just the EXPS, KAC irons, KAC grip, Surefire light and silencer. I don’t have any night vision so no need for a DBAL, illuminator, or IR doodads otherwise.

Paint should work with the environment that the rifle will be used in; it wouldn't be wrong at all to paint it to match your local colors.

During my last deployment, 10th Mountain came in as our replacements.  Many of them had old green based woodland color paint jobs still on tbeir M4s.  My point is just as said above paint is for the environment and the mission.  The green did not match the environment in Afghanistan but their mission was not insertion patrols to a hide site so the green did not matter.

Heh... that CQBR in the top photo is actually pretty similar to mine. If he had a Surefire M300C, TD Stubby and flipped his 99051 and CQD the opposite way, they'd be twinsies ;p.

Also, one other guy that I can see running a KAC 300m as well. Obviously, gentlemen with excellent taste :D.

Any idea the date on the Marine Raider pics? They're still running M4QDs, so I'd be interested to know if that is current.

Guys with "Phased Replacement/Block 1.5" CQBRs - Would you be kind enough to post pics for reference so I can avoid scrounging through 1200+ pages? I think this is the direction I'm going to go with my current parts bin special.

Pic of my current progress minus the M4 Carbine Lower, I left it at the shop. KAC RAS is en route. This is going to be my excuse to finally buy an NT4.
