My man Cory from Black Phase Tac emailed them and confirmed NSN marked and all. Kinda excited they popped up again.. buying SB's was a total compromise.

How does one go about purchasing a suppressor online? I pretty much have no clue and was waiting to get an NT4 but with that price on the RC I'm pretty tempted.  I mean I always assumed I'd get both.

FFL/SOT sends paperwork to Big Tex for a form 3 transfer

it ships to your dealer, maybe they charge a fee for transfer, maybe they dont. then normal process takes over.

So just buy it online and they will contact me and I get my FFL/Sot to send them paper work?

Good deal also, just know that it is a cut down Colt barrel vs. factory Colt 10.3" FSP if it matters.

Saw someone post this over on reddit. And in the comments someone was saying the rc2 is not clone correct. Is this true? I was under the impression the rc2 is what is in use right now for socom?
Link Posted: 7/16/2019 11:23:55 PM EST

No the RC2 is not what is used.

Has someone used one, probably. It's not the issued contract suppressor though.

The RC1 that they're selling does it have the same correct clone markings like the one you would have gotten if you used the Golden Ticket?

I happen to love the height of the XPS on the KDG riser. Puts you at like 2.1" or so I think. I'm all about that 1.93" life these days but never mind a little bit more.

Believe me, the want is there but the need definitely isn’t. Especially when the want for an M110 or MK11 is so much greater. Those are about the biggest clone money pits of them all.

I dig my SB. I can’t really tell the diff in suppression and I get what feels like less blowback than the RC. Although I do feel the muzzle flash signature out of the can is a little more. At least on that first round.

Anyone got a couch I can crash on? I may need it when my wife finds out I just dropped coin on a surefire rc! I couldn’t resist.

1st suppressor purchase- so does the suppressor get shipped to my ffl, then I fill out all paperwork with my ffl?

Congrats!

First, it'll be transferred on a Form 3 to your FFL/SOT; once there, you'll both fill out the relevant portions of a Form 4 and submit it to start the transfer it to you. If your FFL is going to do the mailing, you'll need to bring two 2x2" passport-style photos and two completed FD258 fingerprint cards. If you're doing the mailing, you'll need to send the first two copies of the F4, prints, and photos to the ATF along with payment, and the redacted "CLEO copy" to the CLEO you used on the form. If you're doing a trust, you'll also need to supply a copy of that and fill out a Responsible Person form 5320.23 for each RP on the trust, with corresponding photos and prints for each.

More in depth guide here: https://www.ar15.com/forums/Armory/Work-In-Progress-new-F1-F4-guide-for-41F-submissions/17-465636/
