Ergo rail covers. Not sure if they still make it in tan or not... only see black.

ETA: I've ordered stuff from Euro Optic... should be fine.

Thanks krdt. On the hunt for some tan covers. If anyone has a set they’re willing to let go of, let me know.

I may be wrong but would the most clone correct lower be the same lower that is from the Colt LE6920 SOCOM?

Off-the-shelf, that'd be about as close as you can get - right manufacturer, roughly the correct markings (no safe/semi/auto and no selector stops) - but not perfect. Short of a govt property marked transferrable (and FA in general trumps markings anyway, lol), the closest you can realistically get would be with all correct markings and selector stops via a custom engraved 80%.

Thanks for FO'ing on that WMX, welcome to the forums and welcome to CQBR. Lovely gun you have there. WMX will look proper on your setup
Ended up buying a house so some of the excess and extra clone parts are being sold off in the EE to fund renovations. Anything complete or close to complete ain't going anywhere. Both CQBR's will never be sold.

Sent a reply. I couldn't find the in progress shots, but here are a couple with lines showing where I made the cuts, and the after photos of my wife's SBR. (I don't post this one usually, because 10.5", but for those that might be interested in the project, here they are.)

I believe so. He was the second guy to do the work, as far as I know, and I think his work was better than mine. I used a dremel to do mine ( ) and a couple I did for others for free (they paid shipping), before he stepped up the game and did more precise work.

ETA -  found the guy, it was Stoner25mkiv

Silencer was approved and I picked it up today. Only about 9 months. Yeah, it’s not clone correct. I was going to get a mini socom or a Mini-4 to handle the full auto easily but @ $350 shipped & transfer included... I couldn’t pass up on this Turbo K.

I plan to get the laser/light situation remedied soon. Maybe even paint it. I’m going to build out the second Colt Clone M4 lower, too.

On one hand, yes... it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than a Knights or SF can.

On the other hand, the Turbo K is a 5” 10oz  mini can that posts sub-140dB numbers. It’s lighter, shorter, and as quiet as the SF/Knights can. And 1/3 the price

That’s what I always thought running my DeadAir Sandman S. It’s a better can than a SureFire. It really is. I was content with it for about a year but it just never looked right. Finally caved on a 4 prong and a SF.

I still need a full power peq. Still need a 14.5 barrel for my block I. But first I need an rmr for my Glock for night vision hunting. And you know, it’s gotta be an HRS. Clone life is expensive
