Nope only the fixed LMT like stealth said(or a cheapo carry handle cut down)

BUTT, myself, I threw a TA01NSN on my Mod 0(i still have the Comp M2-sitting in the safe, so if Im called out I can always it back on for a pic)  and because of where the ACOG sits I cant use a fixed rear, so I have a matech squished right below the ACOG, and I think its acceptable

posted this one a couple weeks ago, but it shows what I mean...

Here are a few shots of a CQBR from the SF Group in Africa. My buddy shot these. He said they got a big Pelican Case with the uppers. He said a lot of the guys run no rear sight. Most of these guys had NT4's. It does not take long for the African Jungle to it's toll on the rifles.

Looks like a CQD sling mount?

How much higher does that eotech sit than a 512? I am trying to get a taller eotech so I can see over my laser and not have half the sight picture taken up.

Those block II pics are awesome. Thanks for sharing. Would love to see the pelican cases. Also noticed they were light on the other block accessories.

I have a all LMT MOD-0 looking for a clean M2 or PRO now for it.
I am working on my Block 2
I just scored my real PEQ-15. I may change to a 533 TAN optic though.

Nope they got them but they don't run them. Some guys run open sites and others run EOtechs. I will get some more pics of these guys.

Page 1 chart says mod 0 uses lmt fixed rear sight, that's it.
The CQBR block I looks similar to the mod 0, but uses pretty much any of the flip sights.  But that's not the rifle he asked about.  And honestly, Doesn't matter to me which one is used, but it should be one of the listed sights on any of the types of these rifles.

Finally got a chance to shoot my CQBR set up. Didn't seem overgassed at all with the DD barrel, in fact, I had a couple failures to eject. Going to replace the springs in the ejector and extractor, and see how that works out. Such is life.

That's cool.  Is it a newer purchase?  Just curious if they might have started shipping the newer ones with a proper port, unlike mine

The action can be cycling so fast that the bolt will close on a casing attempting to eject. A heavier buffer or spring will reduce this in the overgassed DD MK18 rifles.

Failure to extract / eject is often a symptom of gun being overgassed.  Extractor spring is not strong enough or, less often, the extractor hook is too dull, to pull the case out of chamber when the temp and pressure is still high.  It has been documented on M4C that DD will add an o-ring to your bolt if you send back your gun to them.  Sprinco 5-coil + o-ring (of BCM's) will most likely fix your issue.  They are less than $5.

EDIT:

If the case is out of chamber, but stuck in the upper receiver, as the post above suggested, a heavier buffer, or a stronger buffer spring, or both, will fix the problem.

Both are symptoms of gun being overgassed.

Merry Christmas!

That's cool.  Is it a newer purchase?  Just curious if they might have started shipping the newer ones with a proper port, unlike mine

Yeah, I bought the barrel 2-3 months ago.

The action can be cycling so fast that the bolt will close on a casing attempting to eject. A heavier buffer or spring will reduce this in the overgassed DD MK18 rifles.

I thought about that, but like I said, I wasn't getting excessive recoil or brass thrown between 12-3.  I've been planning on picking up and trying a heavier recoil spring and buffer, anyway, so I'm not terribly worried about it.

I also noticed the extractor is lacking an o-ring, and has the older style of extractor spring when I pulled it apart a minute ago, that's what I get for not remembering to inspect the parts before shooting it. This bolt carrier may have been intended for an M16, it's one that was NIW and being thrown away in Afghanistan, that I managed to save.

How much higher does that eotech sit than a 512? I am trying to get a taller eotech so I can see over my laser and not have half the sight picture taken up.

MK18= LMT
CQBR= LMT, KAC 300m/600m, Matech

Plenty of Mod 0 with folding rear BUIS, page 1 alone has a handful of KACs.

Sorry for the noon questions buto what's the difference between mod 0 and cqbr? Is the cqbr basically just a cut down block 1.5 or 1 my and the mod 0 the specific rifle built by crane/the navy? Thanks for the help guys

MK18 is a complete weapon issued to Navy boat boarding teams. The CQBR is an upper used by SOF on their M4A1s. It's just that back in the day, before the block II kit with the DD rails, the MK18 and M4A1s with CQBRs were identical.

ATPIAL-C came in yesterday! I need to put the non-QD TD grip on later and I'm debating on a G33. I have a couple months left to wait for my stamp on my TiRant 45S, but I suppose that's a topic for another thread. Does anyone know where I can get a sheet of QR/IUID stickers? I think a horizontal one for the magwell would help complete the look. Something still feels like it's missing, what do you guys think?

It would be the KAC 300M BUIS (non micro) if your picky about details.
And yes the "mod 0" has been seen with the flip KAC 300m sight.

Want to take a second and say thanks to all of you who put effort into this thread. It is by far one of my favorites on the site, my CQBR has quickly become one of a very few guns that I will never part with.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Got a Pelican 1700 from the girlfriend's parents for Christmas.  Seems to fit my CQBR, 14.5" Block II upper plus a Glock 17 well (with a little extra space for a SOCOM can when I purchase one).

Yep.

I wasn't all that concerned about it looking perfect, so I used a bread knife after tracing it out with a sharpie on the foam.  It is a little rough in some spots but works perfectly and fits snug.  As you can tell by the rattle can jobs, I'm not exactly that big on aesthetics.
