In seriousness, nice rig. Really been digging the SF4P on a CQBR look. I'm about to toss an SF4P on my rattle canned CQBR, and run it as is without a can. Figured it's about time I set one of my CQBRs up to be run sans can. And I'd hate to hide that SF4P.

The taupe A2 grips are back in stock:

https://www.boltcarrier.com/product/pistol-grip-taupe/

Don't remember who it was that was looking for one a while back, and missed out on the last batch.

And sorry I didn't make the link hot. For the past week, when I'm on my phone, any of the tag buttons crash my browser when I click them. Has been a new and random annoyance of late.

It's not ridiculously tight, until you try and close it. I just take the wmx200's off and it gets a little easier.

Thanks man. thats not as tight as i thought it would be. Any reason you didn't custom cut a piece of foam so they stay in place?

They don't move around once you close the lid.  Also, i don't plan on using the case for just clone stuff, so I didn't want to limit what the case could be used for.  The first thing I did when the case showed up, was to throw the middle piece right in the trash, lol.

That makes sense. Thanks again for the photo. looks like I'm going to be picking up a 1700 for my MK18 and my b2 upper and a 1720 for a possible MK12 modH build.

The downside is if you fly you're basically not going to use half the case due to weight or pay the overweight fee.

Not a block II as the 2nd, but you can see there would plenty room for a b2 where the 300blk upper is. Also, finally picked up a 1650 today. LGS had a couple on "close-out" for 169 bucks. (I guess that's a fair price, couldn't remember what they go for online)

range bag:

I've got a pelican 1750 and some other ones but those just get too big hauling around.  No airplane travel yet, but if I had to I would get as small as possible and just stuff in as much that I could fit.

Definitely. The VFG's might get in eachother's way but they'll both fit one way or another.

5.11 tactical range ready bag.  I think midway/brownells makes a knockoff that's the same.

Didn't know it was a 5.11 bag originally. I've had the Midway one for a long time.

Being that this is a discussion thread as well. I wanted ya'lls intake on a small project.

This is NOT ad, What I'm making is not for sale (at least not yet) but for personal use. The final version isn't decided and nothing has been published until now.  I'm putting together a SOPMOD vinyl / t-shirt wondering if I am missing anything? or is this close enough?

If this breaks some sort of thread rules, I'll remove it.

True enough...should it be strictly about what's issues, or go with what can be seen in the wild?

Seen in the wild would be a whoooooooooooole lot of different parts. It may be best to stick with the increment II package or "as widely issued"

Since its for personal use, then go with whatever YOU want.

If it has what you want, then it looks great! I like it it the way it is, I just wanted to point out what isn't issued before the clone police corrected you.

Indeed. Levers are on the wrong side. I'll have to get that corrected. Thanks.

I could...but I will likely get rid of the pins all together.  Depending on the size anyway. Details only make things difficult when cutting vinyl.  Unless this is a life size vinyl, some of the detail will be gone.

Picked up the 2012 Range I was talking about... Threw a Surefire and KAC vinyl on the lower corners of the rear window. Subtle... But sharp.

I have a small black BCM vinyl in the bottom right corner of my wife's (black) car back window. And a white one in the corner of mine (white). Small and simple, and non-gun folks wouldn't know what it is.

I was thinking that was a lot of detail for a vinyl. For a t shirt though, it would be legit.

I like it overall.

admittedly, i've actually already moved it further forward to serve as a thumb-based handstop of sorts.  But where it now is, just feels right for me.  and provides better sling-up opportunity should it be needed.

Tactical high-stress sling engagements. Gotta make it sound more high speed.

Looks good except that the AFG, bipod, and stubby TD grip aren't issued as far as I know (if that's what you're going for.)

If you included everything that has been seen in the wild you might as well just get solid black T shirts.
