I just did mine as a 10.5" length before i though about what it was gonna be. I like 10.5 and 11.5". nah PA is FINE. sounds good I will look to adco for the DD 10.3" down the line. i doubt they will care much as long as the SN on rifle and form match and are in the vault. just.....scarededed lol. |

You can run whatever barrel length you want on a registered SBR lower. ETA - and I agree regarding the 10.5" barrel. I'm about as far from the clone police as it gets around here, but 10.5" barrels do get to me. |

Some tried to run me out of town several months back for simply posting a pic of a very commonly issued sidearm carried with these exact rifles. It was an as relevant piece of kit as a lot of the other stuff posted around here.
Although I think you know that they are razzing you for an entirely different reason. They at least are just razzing you though. I'll still never understand the non razzing but hostile reaction that I got for posting a Mk25 in here. It is what it is though. |

I still don't know why SF dropped the gunmetal grey, it is a pretty cool color for a weaponlight. The M951 with a smaller bezel added on is still one of my favorite lights.

I don't think we have enough people posting to get a picture dump tonight, so fuck it. Here's my late contribution to the discussion of cases earlier/what I was going to post on 800:
Home made way to conceal a rifle, picked up this cheap ass collapsible chair bag, and padded it with furniture foam. 
Opened. 
Have the Pelican case and all that shit, but this is what I use when I want to bring a rifle, without looking like I'm bringing a rifle. Will fit up to a 16" AR. I can fit 5 mags easily, plus a rifle. Also, preemptively, shut the fuck up, Milspec, at least I'm not posting the exact same picture of my upper for the thirtieth time, queer. |

Definitely a lot less 'gun' looking than most of the purpose made 'discreet' bags you can buy. MOLLE loops and FDE don't make a convincingly case that the bag you have isn't a gun. 
Generally, I use the Pelican case whenever I'm actually going shooting, and the home made bag whenever I'm going somewhere in the Mogadishu-like parts of town. |
