Much fun tomorrow.   Just picked up a legit Colt MK18 10.3 barrel.

A local guy that is friends with the company. He's got more, but you might as well just order from SAW given the price.

The reticles are different as well as slight differences in the white laser engravings on the FDE anodizing.

I've heard that the commercial reticle is actually better. Can anyone chime in on this?

I also have the Mil reticle and prefer it over the civi because it's not as cluttered IMO. A friend of mine has the civi version so, I was able to get some trigger time to compare the two side y side.

I think it is an engraved sear pin hole on a NDS lower.

Nice setup regardless though.

yeah i zoomed in on the pic and it looks like its just a AR15 lower engraved with SBR markings and engraved with the colt design, model, auto and fake pin and then anodized in the older dark gray color colt style coating.

Awful lot of work to convince people you have a M16, should have saved the $ and put it towards a REAL M16

Saving the $100 dollars for not buying a nodak lower is .6% of the cost of an M16. Not too helpful.

I bought the stripped lower already engraved  for $100 I don't think that would put a dent in a m16 or even a rdias. Sorry I'm attempting to be as clone as possible.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think m16 lowers were used with CQBRs. I think you'd want an M4 lower for that build. Would make a great lower for a Mk18 build though.

I thought I've read they have used M16s just because it's what they had. Probably not the ideal issue. Just what I thought I read in the previous locked thread.

I can't speak for the CQBR, but 85% of the Mod 0's I work on are M4A1 receivers, the rest are m16 of some variety

KAC (300 vs 200-600?) , (regular vs micro?)

Are KAC micros allowed on a MK18 clone?

They're the standard IDPA targets. We do use another version specific to a 2 gun club that was started called USCA (US Carbine Association).

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but the "clone correct" rear BUIS for the CQBR and Block II is either the 600m or the 300m with the full size windage adjustment wheel/drum.  I dont think many people will frown on using the micro buis but the full size is clone correct.  Which one you use is personal preference.  I also believe the matech rear buis is clone appropriate.
