I did a little experiment with my EO today:

The front and rear lenses on the EOtech were a little fogged up from condensation, but it was on the OUTSIDE of the lens and wiped off easily. Sight was outside approximately an hour. Checking the zero against the sights eliminates ammo as a variable, but is less precise than actually firing the rifle. However, I am confident that I could have hit a torso at 300 yards before and after the temp change. 2015-12-18_01-06-28 by azoutdoorsman, on Flickr 2015-12-18_01-03-28 by azoutdoorsman, on Flickr |

Started with ConspiroAgnew showing his chop job, then JohnnySasaka20 posted pics of his genuine MK18 FSP RIS II rail. I believe that rail is shown/listed on the SOCOM Equipment "poster", although I don't believe they were actually ever fielded. |

Those who have a Pelican 1520, can it fit a 14.5" upper diagonally? I think I remember some using 1600s for 14.5s but I'm not sure about the 1520.

One of my buddies who runs his rigs much harder than I has exclusively used WMLs since 2013 now. He's extremely happy with them thus far. |
