Both are equally legit, in da jenn juan. I'm certain black is way more common in the program though, based on all the mil pics we've seen over the years.

Tope going on something else

And to keep it on the tracks..

What would be considered good deal for the following?:

1. SF SOCOM RC (AU has these for $799; the nearest dealer near my house wants $1,450 )
2. SF SOCOM RC2
3. SF SOCOM Mini (again, dealer near my house wants $1,200 )

good luck with AU, go check the socom thread in the suppressor section.

I paid 1299 for my RC back in july locally. It  stung a little but at least I'm not waiting for them to do a form 3 still..

Don't ever buy from AU lol. Especially a RC...

Someone on here was just saying that their LGS had the RC in stock for $799.

I have an RC and RC2 on the way. I got the RC2 from Silencer Shop for $899 and the RC from a shop in Florida for $1,150

I'd get the dealer RC (not from AU) unless you find a killer deal on an RC2.

Where in Va are you? Maybe I can recommend some shops.

And unrelated but there's a lot of knowledgable part sleuths in here... Anyone know where I can find a 7.0 lite rail at a good cost, or is the EE my best bet. I want the older lockup style...

My home is in Richmond. There are 3 big suppressor dealers around me but they are all overpriced .

Is CSA high? Never bought a can from them so I don't know... Albemarle County Firearms in Charlottesville used to have really good prices on everything, they're worth checking out. If you're ever in Northern Virginia, Sterling Arsenal may be a good bet. I've seen them have some crazy good deals on suppressors. And they can probably order whatever you need. If I remember any more shops I'll be sure to post... Can't remember if Blue Ridge sells NFA stuff, but most places in NOVA are high anyways.

Green Top had SOCOMs for real cheap a while ago. I think they sold out though. $800 or $850 I think..

Albemarle County Firearms is a great bet... I stopped in to say hi last time I was in the area and I swear they had a SOCOM in stock.  Awesome folks too. In late 2012/early 2013 all of their prices didn't budge at all.

Pistol Parlour in Mesa, AZ. They had them for $799 last week. I saw a few FDEs on the shelf.

ETA: They are great people to deal with. I've got one in jail currently as well.

Not sure if you're just truly trolling to stir the pot but, so far only one of the ones you've posted would be considered a Mk18. The one with a PRI tube would be considered a Mk12 and this is just a piston SBR with a DD Lite rail.
