Awwww snap. I haven't bought the CASV yet.

I had a CASV-EL on a 14.5 for a while, and I liked it. I feel like it is really at home on a 10.3" upper though. Just looks perfect to me.

I don't think I am going to be using the 93 on it though...

Probably one of my favorite Scout mounts on the market. They came out with a slimmer version that only takes up one slot on the rail but, I haven't seen it on the site yet for the Scout series. There are versions available for other lights though and I'm holding out till the M300/M600 Scouts come out since I have two scout lights sitting in the parts bin anxiously waiting.

Why you snow people haven't painted your guns white is beyond me.

After spending hours stripping my rifle only to have certain parts be in-strippable, I don't even want to look at a rattle can for a month... At least...

Not sure if this has ever been discussed, but what sling would be considered correct or "issued?" Alternatively, what sling is everyone using?

The Blue Force Gear NSN Sling and VTAC slings are issue and from what I've seen, the most commonly used slings.

Unlike some operational members here...I don't have "extra" CQBR clones just sitting around waiting for a solid winter paint job If I did, you know I'd be down. I love me the rattlecan.

...maybe one of my clones could go white...hmmm. Now I'm thinking.

Well, I intended on painting mine fairly white....

" />

But it ended up darker, because it isn't snowy ALL the time. Figured I try to make an all round "winter" camo, that was good enough in most winter settings, but at the same time didn't make my FDE shit stick out like a boner in a speedo.

Most of the gun has changed entirely since this picture (in fact, the only thing that is still on this gun, besides the suppressor, is the Ergo grip and N1 stock, but even the stock is going to be replaced soon if I can find a black gen 1 LMT, lol), but the spray paint, while slightly worn now, remains the same.

I know you didn't ask me, but I'll echo what the others have said.  I'm a fan of the FSP.  I originally got it because I liked the fact that it was rare and purely that.  But after using for awhile...I'm attached.  I just have a naked CQBR upper sitting in my safe getting no use now.

Tossed on a SF4P and my first rattle can job.  I thought it looked like absolute garbage at first, but it's growing on me.  I really want to get an Elcan to replace the ACOG but I want to get behind one before I pony up.

Seriously considering the receiver.  I thought about the whole upper...then said nope. I don't have the balls to paint it

Maybe if DD does end up doing another run, then I will.

I debated hitting the warden with some netting and brown.  Might as well since cans aren't in our near future here.

Need to spray my RECCE so I'll be getting everything out again soon

Thanks for your input on the FSP rail. I think I need to build one to go along with my CQBR and mod 0. The lower looks good and I think you should also paint the upper reciever but don't touch that FDE FSP rail with any paint.

Anyone have any leads on a MK18 FSP rail or a full size black FSP rail to chop down?

Looking to get back into the mk18 game.

Anybody have any photos of a Mod 0 with a T1 or a comp M2 with a kac rear? I love the traditional look of the mod 0 with lmt rear but I feel it's gonna clutter up the sight picture. Anyone have any insight on that setup? I haven't shot with an a2 fsb on my rifle in about 6 years

No issues with sight clutter with T1 and LMT with larue mount. If you flip to the large aperture it's not noticeable at all when looking through with 1/3 lower cowitness.

I used a Matech on mine with a CompM2, but I also used a cut carry handle for a time. No distracting clutter, especially if you use the 0-200 aperture.

With the Matech:

I know you didn't ask me, but I'll echo what the others have said.  I'm a fan of the FSP.  I originally got it because I liked the fact that it was rare and purely that.  But after using for awhile...I'm attached.  I just have a naked CQBR upper sitting in my safe getting no use now.

Tossed on a SF4P and my first rattle can job.  I thought it looked like absolute garbage at first, but it's growing on me.  I really want to get an Elcan to replace the ACOG but I want to get behind one before I pony up.

Potato Time!

You know I thought about that when I stuck it there.  Haven't had any issues so far but I also haven't done any real heavy fire yet.  Last time I went shooting it kind of worked it's way upwards so it wasn't touching and blocked the front sight, I need to actually strap them down.

I actually like the LSO grips a lot.  I stuck them on a couple rifles

I'd love to mount my switch like that... I'll give it a try and roll the dice.

Hoping the AFG gets in today, and swapped the LMT to the FSP RIS II.

Oh, no I have the Matech rear. I was going off your old photo I guess. I do have the AFG though. However, my upper has this weird "C" stamp on it though. Strange.

I don't have the Gen 1 SOPMOD yet, but I'm planning on getting one and a few CQD mounts as well.

The LT rail albeit it old is still my preferred quad rail. The dimensions are excellent being on the smaller side and it still looks good. I think you'll be very pleased with it.

Keep an eye out in the EE for one and they'll show up. They can also be had brand new for $175 from LT directly (all handguards seem heavily discounted now).

ETA: A short KAC FF RAS would look pretty slick too.

The 7.0 Lite rail would be my favorite for a Mod 0 style rifle.

Also - Larue Tactical 7.0 is out of stock right now, even though it doesn't say so on the website. Tried to order one last week.

Yeah, for me...I just wonder about the performance differences. I mean, it's cool that I can use the can on other platforms...but how effective is it in comparison? No way it performs like dedicated units... If I was loaded I'd dedicate a suppressor to each build, but I'm not, and now we're running out of time before the new NFA rules hit

...I should have prioritized all my NFA wants years ago, but shit, I didn't know I wanted all this shit years ago
