Small Update:
Instead of waiting the 12 week lead time for a Compass Lake barrel, picked up one of the Recce Starter Kits (15.1" BA barrel, brake, collar, gb, and mid gas tube) from Thoroughbred Armament today and one of the Aimpoint repro mounts awhile back. Still need to track down a T1 or T2 but will be functionally a Mk12 Mod 1 turned NSW Recce once the SPR barrel is swapped out with this new kit. Also hardcore cloners don't kill me, but it's sporting a Law Folder and VLTOR A5 buffer system now. If I can get my eForm AEM5 from April before the end of the year I'll be a happy camper but that wait time just keeps getting longer and longer... |

Capitol Armory claimed week before last that they were receiving approved EF4s from late-February, so I’m hoping mine are approved in the next week or so. Guessing you’re will be late Dec or early Jan if they don’t go back to taking care of the paper Form backlog. |

Anybody know if the Wilcox ring cap for the nightforce rings will put a T2 high enough above the elevation turret on an NX8 1-8 to be able to use?
It’s cutting it really close on the 2.5-10 but not sure if the elevation turret height is the same on the NXS 2.5-10 as the NX8 1-8. |

I like to use the T2 to line up my target then drop down to my optic. Not necessary for the range but shooting hogs and moving targets it helps. Oh and it looks cool.

Working on building my nsw recce to match up with my mk12 mod 0, mk12 mod 1, mk12 mod H. Finally sourced a NF T1 ring mount. Last part I need is the NF 2.5-10x24 scope in Mil. If anyone has any leads or wants to sell one please let me know!

Finally grew some balls and spray painted the NSW. Just placeholder optics, NX8 is on a different upper for now.

Does anyone have any experience with the Thoroughbred Armament 15.1 barrel? And what kind of clearance does it get with an AEM5? I was debating between the Thoroughbred barrel or a Criterion from CLE, but it looks like those are not available anymore. Bonus appreciation for any pics. Thanks!

Anybody looking for an NXS 2.5-10x24 Mildot with 0.25 MOA Adjustments? NV settings on the illumination, Recon Nav Spec on bottom.

Anyone have a picture of an ATACR 1-8 on their NSW recce? The reticle on my x24 is really faint to my eye but I still keep it around for clone purposes. Just wondering what it might look like with an ATACR

I'm interested in the 416 RECCE and haven't seen a whole lot of posts on it in this thread, specifically info and photos of the NXS 1-4. What barrel length did this one have? I see the original thread post also mentions that a 10.4in barrel was used. I may be acquiring an NXS 1-4 to attempt this clone on my 416ish build.
